ship dims 35.4x27.5x11
37" LCD HD-Ready --$499 after $150 MC mail rebate

42" LCD TV 542i-- $799 after $200 MC mail rebate
47.4x37.8x14.4
1 day only 11/24

Who knows this time around, but last year MicroCenter explicitly permitted return/rebuys on the LCDs. I bought a 37" on Tuesday, then returned with my receipt late Friday afternoon when the store was more or less dead. Went smooth as silk. As I recall, they had significant quantities of all their LCDs.

Cool, lucky I waited. Didn't pull the trigger on Buy.com deals. I'm running there next week. Is their $100 off for CC still valid? anyone?

Good stuff...Thanks OP!

Syntax Olevia 532H

542i

37" looks like the 337H

Online, instore or both ????????????????????????????

Nothing about it in the preview ad but I'd say it's a good possibility

I wanna know that too

I have an older 30 inch from Olevia and I love it! OP, can you tell us where you saw this as I can't find any other info on this yet. I would love to pick up the 542i. Thanks!

Approval point of sale. $399 or more purchased that day will receive 13000 points redeemable for $100 Cash Back. Bonus points will appear on the first monthly periodic billing statement.

This ad is part of their newspaper filler for this Sunday's sales.

Now this is what I call hot. And with online retailers ALREADY selling the 37 inch olevia for 699 before BF and MC selling it for 499 with rebate ---- CC , CompUSA and BB look ICE COLD now. They better get their azzes in gear and think of something.

Wow, this is better than the Home Depot one by far.

I smell lots of returns in cities that have Micro Centers

We need proof of scans of ad. Price is too low to believe. There must be some catch.

I paid 799 for the 532H back in August. Wow !!! If it is at $369 I just might consider getting another one.

I just wish they had MC around here, I'll be all over the 37" deal

Just checked specs of 532H, its HD READY, no tuner built in..

There are plenty to go around; don't try to deceive people.

It's HDTV Built-In with ATSC/NTSC Combo Tuner.

These may be difficult to get before BF... They don't normally carry these models.

anyone can confirm this? they are not available on their website yet, and will they?

What kind of lines does microcenter usually get?

The 37 incher is litterly half the price of last BF! I never thought it would fall this fast. I guess I should've waited a year. Did I really need an HDTV that badly this past year?

Can I buy now and price match on BF?

oh year that's exactly what I want to do. 100 off any order $399 or larger is still there.

Where are these deals "listed"? The prices look great, but are really really loooow (granted after rebate)....

Someone said "limit 3 per store", so is the BF ad out already? Where?

Did you get $500 worth of happy out of it this year? One happy is worth 1 pound sterling*, so the question is, did your HDTV provide you with a total of 264 points happy?

*: Happy conversion points provided by Dave Gorman's Important Astrology Experiment and may not be precise.

Thats just how it goes with electronics. You can't really worry about it, or else you'll never buy anything.

I think whoever said that was speculating. As I recall, MC did the same thing last year, ie a preview BF ad featuring LCDs. They had large quantities also.

542I review.

I could not find much on 542i on avsforum except for this review . Does any one know anyother souces for 542i review. I am planing to get this LCD TV and it looks to have a built in tuner too.
And how reliable are Syntax rebates
TIA

I was at the Westbury store yesterday and there was a sign on the door that they will NOT be taking any returns on Black Friday.

I hate you guys...Like I have money for that 37" LCD I would really like to have.

One thing that you have to watch out for is the MC in infamous for advertising some items (BF or not) in their flyers with the $$ off for applying for their credit card. For example, the 32" might really be 469 after rebates, and the other $100 off is coming from you applying for the card. That is why we need the actual ad to confirm before I get too excited...

second that. Never liked this type of advertising! more and more retailers do this now! in order to get a so called special, you need to sign up for a service or a credit card.

So how early do I need to get there?

I'd head over there right now.

sux that there's rebates!

OUCH this HURTS! Been desperately waiting on a 37" for $500. But of course, there is no Microcenter near me. Oh the agony !

Finally something to wake up early for thx OP for posting this. In the mean time, anybody knows how much an external HD-tuner cost?

It takes my brother 6-8 month to get all his rebate. By that time, the
LCD is already available at the after rebate prices.
