You can apply multiple GCs by placing your order by phone or online chatting.

example:
Western Digital My Book Premium Edition Hard Drive
320GB - 7200rpm - 480Mbps USB 2.0, 400Mbps FireWire 400 - USB 2.0, IEEE 1394a - External
price: $202
apply 4 $50 GCs
savings: $80
your final price: $122

You don't have to pay taxes either!

can you apply multiple GCs and if you total is still above $50 get another $20 off ?

if that is the case, why not apply another GC? and I believe you can always use google checkout, till 19 Dec.

You CANNOT use ANY GC or Promo Codes when using Google Checkout. I have tried every possible way, and chatted with them. To use GC or Promo, you have to check out through Buy.

You mean buy $50 GC first, then used those GC to check out? How many GC you can use online?

I have chatted with one of their representative, according to him, multiple GCs can be applied to a single order.

There is also a thread on SD about this. Someone wants to use it towards a XBOX 360. According to them that have talked with representatives who said you can stack GC you just need to call them to do it.

Is there a max of how many gc can be applied to order by calling? If this works I could ideally get a Nikon D80 for $600 w/20 gc.

Oooooooooh!

I just called and YOU CAN use as many gift cert as you want on each purchase....I asked if I buy a $600 camera can I redeem (12) $50 Certs and was told yes

You CANNOT use Goog Checkout with those Certs

Just called them, and they said they can accept any number of GCs for an order. Don't know if they would accept 20 though. In fact, there could be problem with Google checkout. One person has reported in FW that google checkout suspended the checkouts due to "suspicious activities",

I am interested in Canon Elura 100 camcorder, which is $379. And I believe I can buy 7 $50 GCs first and then apply them to get price of $239 with no tax and free shipping.

Has anyone who ordered gift certificates using Google Checkout received them yet? Any idea on turnaround time?

billybabe and abyss thanks for checking. Just waiting to see if anyone who has gone the gc route has received them and been able to place an order yet. I don't want to get stuck with a bunch of gc, especially since I don't *need* anything now. LOL

Thanks again everyone!

Just placed 7 GCs through GCO with no problem at all.
Waiting for them now. It won't pop up right away. That is for sure.

I'm looking at that Elura 100 too. Have you thought about buying another GC (it'll only cost you $1 more than what you're planning) and adding an additional $21 of stuff to your order?

So if I buy THIS MONITOR

The cost is 336 with shipping

I'll spend $195 on $325 worth of Gift Certs
I'll pay the $12ish difference between the certs and actual cost

So the total out of my pocket is roughly $207, and there is a $100 rebate, making it

$ 107.00 total...not too bad

Oh and the 4% fat Cash too

I think 4% FatCash for Ritz Camera works with GCO.

So, what is the procedure?
You buy 1 $50 card for 1 checkout and keep doing these checkouts (GCO) as many times...?
Does google allow multiple checkouts then?

If you buy the GCs through Boater's World, you'll get 5% FatCash.

can anyone find anything actually worth buying on any of their affiliated sites? Seems like all of their stuff is overpriced with high shipping costs, which just means applying the essential 40% off only brings their prices down to normal deal levels. If anyone can find some hot deals, please post.

In the tradition of FW, I bought $800 worth before looking LOL

same here, got $300 worth. I am more worried about my cc raising red flag due to multiple identical charges.

Well, the canon 70-200 F2.8L IS lens is 1999, so if you bought 40 GCs @ $50 each for $30 each, you'd pay $1200. Best deal I've seen recently on this lens is 1499 [now] at Dell.com, but then you pay sales tax, and shipping. On eBay, these items easily retain their value, so you'd end up making money after use...

/edit/ you can also use their "low-price guarantee" here to get them to PM, however they only match up to 100$. Amazon offers the same lens here for 1706... but 2000 - 100 [Max PM] = 1900, and 1900 in GCs can be bought for 1140... so in essence you save another $60 of "real" money.

/edit2/ If you use FC to buy the GCs [can you?], you can save another $76 [if you buy 1900$ worth...] 38*(50*4% FC) = $76.... taking the price down to 1064- Thats about 1/2 of their list price, and more than $500 cheaper than any other "reputable" place online... I'm talking myself into this now.... ... also can you use FC twice? Once to buy the GC's then again for the item you "buy"... taking another $42 off would be 1022!

how long does it take for the certificates to come?

can some1 help me how to do this deal?

Just now I talked to CSR at RitzCamera.com and he told that the gift certificates will take 24 to 48 hours to come.

Can anybody please post actual time it took to receive the GC's. The comment in the quick summary about 48 hours is holding me back. I don't want to be stuck with GCs and no good deal to use them on.

my two questions/concerns

1. How long can we receive gift certificates? Can they send electronically?
2. If their representives reject the stack of multiple GC to buy some prodcuts we want, can we return the GC with full refunding?

If so, I'd like to use them to buy a Nikon D80. It should be a good deal around $600.

You guys realize that Google is freezing accounts that place a bunch of orders, right? Just an FYI.....

any idea what a "bunch" would be? I ordered maybe 10 times using google checkout in the past 24 hours...and hope to do a few more. But i'm doing a lot of xmas shopping...

Nope, not sure what number would trigger it. I just saw the emails they sent out to some other members.....

How long does it take to receive the gc I nned to buy only one item and it may go away by tomorrow.

I assume 4 should be fine, any thought?

in my case I am still waiting for a GC from them over 2 weeks; called 4-5 times and everytime was told by CSR that it was issued, it is issued, it is sent, it will be sent within 24 hours, blah, blah...and still nothing. So, I wouldn`t actually buy from these people, very bad.

Anyone received yet? It seems that it's taking forever.

I just want to know if any1 pulled a d80 off for 600 bucks

These guys are sloooow. Last time I ordered a camera with 2 day shipping and GCO. It wasn't shipped until the third day.

They send the GC through emails provided by you. I've ordered 8 today and I am waiting for them. The status on GCO is "processing".

Skipping 539 Messages...

lol, i just tried placing an order via online chat (in light of david10's experience) but it looks like i wasn't able to. i was just trying to pricematch and then place the order and use the multiple gcs.
btw: this is what the csr 'randomly' put down even though i made no reference to it (and also since i already know gco won't fly with ritz gcs):

Jacob M: You will not be able use the gift certificate on google orders.

bahahahhahahhaa
