Will I be able to buy the new 2007 model for $149.99? I'd bet not. I think I'll get this years model instead. Thx for the heads up. |

That is what I was wondering.. I would like to spend less than $200 on one if possible.
So I assume this model for $150 is the best bang for the buck. |

Just got back from CUSA with my new GPS. They refused to do any PM's today and tomorrow.
Oh well, at least I get to sleep tonight and hit a few other stores in the morning.

Got the MIO @ CompUSA tonight. Got it PM'ed to the CC price of $199 OTD before the $50 rebate which printed out. No Staples here, so couldn't push for the $149 OTD.
My store had about 20, and after of the first couple waves of people I could've gone back and gotten 3-4 more. They had about 15 that moved very quickly, and the others just sat and begged to be bought . Line was about 500 people outside and I was about halfway. I'd say at least 1/3 of the people in front of me were looking to do the Razr phone & Xbox 360 deal.
Mine came with both the AC adapter and the car charger (just as a data point from previous discussions about this model).
Opened it up and used it to route a couple of places on the way home and it works fine. My area is pretty newly developed, so some stores/streets less than 2 yrs old were not included in the POI's.
I was using it to do a test with my wife to see how much of an issue it is for her to not have text-to-speech, but I think it'll do well enough.
I'll be standing in line for a pair of Garmin C340's at CC tomorrow morning at the request of my mother who insists on text-to-speech, but comparing the $350 each for those Garmins vs. the $150 Mio, I think it'll fit my wife's needs just fine.
Congrats to LexLuthor on the $100 AR score. |

Staples site is down. I thought they were going to do it like last year where they allow online purchases starting at midnight. Oh well, it's more fair this way for people waiting in line. I'm going to have to take my laptop along with my EVDO BB connection and camp out.
Then again, you can easily get the Garmin Nuvi i3 for $200. It's $50 more than the Mio but is a very good basic GPS. |

Available now and has very good reviews. Maps based on navteq which is better than telenav for the Mio. The only thing I don't like is it's too small. |

Looks like deal just died:
The item that you tried to add is not eligible for sale online.
Great for all those that got in. |
