Good deal except for the CA rebates. They are horribly slow.

Nicely laid out OP. Green for you. I just did the deal and it worked just as you said. I also stacked $39 in coupons (3 ink coupons and a $30 off $150). I tried to get the free paper but it would not stack for me if I used the $30 off $150.

Not FAR, but very close, is the PNY 2GB Attache (SKU # 620206) which is on sale through today for $29.99 - $25.00 rebate with tax software purchase, which equals $4.99 after easy rebate. A great price!

If you buy a router you can get additional $40 rebate with NIS or Norton Confidential. They need not be on the same receipt but should purchased within 14 days. Offer No - 06-56152

I will wait another month for some better deal. Better means low initial price and less rebates and less number of products to buy.

There is nothing new in the post. All the free software offers are on the Staples BF ads and I have posted the newly found CA $35 rebate a couple hours earlier than the OP here. There is actually a fouth rebate on the CA Internet Security 3-pk. See my post.

Also, a general money keeping (assets, debits, bills, etc..) program. These sound like they would work, but looking for a user review.
I have used Tax Cut (and TaxACT, FWIW) and have been fairly happy with them. However, a friend has tried both Tax Cut and Turbo Tax and he completely sold me on using Turbo Tax. That is the one I would be using this year.
Money keeping is easy with MS-Money. IMHO 2004 version was the best. But I have tried almost every version since 2000 (I think I missed 2002 or 2003). I have tried an old version of Quicken but was not impressed. Going by what I hear, it has not improved since. Neither has MS-Money for that matter. Since about 2002, all they do is remove features or add them back or switch menus around or change colors or stuff like that. Classic Microsoft!

I just saw the rebate form says: store receipt and copy or original upc for the CA one. I asked some representative and he says it is only valid for store purchase and not for on-line purchase. Is this true? anybody has experience about this before?? Thanks!!!

"Staples.com" is a store. Now, some rebates are limited to "retail stores" but the rebates in the OP are not so limited.
no more FAR federal efile with the premium version.

Looks like the taxcut & turbotax duopolies have jacked up their prices after renaming them to "premium".
For example, last year taxcut deluxe which included federal + state + free efile was $29.99 This year the same combo is $59.99. The $29.99 one does not include free e-file.

For the products that have limit 10 on the rebates, can you just buy one software and 10 of those products and get all 10 rebates, or would you have to buy 10 softwares also?

Hmm interesting point... does TurboTax Deluxe include efile? I can't see it anywhere in the literature, or on the picture of the box. IIRC they make it very obvious when they do.

OK, so you've tried something like this before and all but one rebate were denied? I'm just asking this because the rebate Ts&Cs do to not specify that you have to buy one tax software per each rebate item, it just says you have to buy it along with a tax software, so technically you could buy all 10 along with one tax software and you would be following the Ts&Cs. Now if the rebate center would see it the same way as me is a different story, which is why I was hoping to get a definitive answer from somebody here...

I have done this before, I used the same Tax software with receipt for other bundle rebates. As long as they don't ask original upc of the Tax and the rebate dates or within the range, you can do multidip. It worked for me.

If that is not the case, then I misunderstood.
Obviously I agree with kuppusamy that 1 tax software can be used with multiple individual bundle rebates (shredder/tax software, money/tax software, memory dongle/tax software, etc.).
