1. Pharos from D3ll for $129 2. Mio C310x from CUSA for $200 3. InVion from Tweeter for $179
I've ordered all 3, but haven't picked up any of them. Which would you keep between the 3?
Those are pretty new units in USA that pretty much have no reviews and no comparison of those GPS units online. Since you are going to get all 3 units, you should write a detail comparison reviews of all 3 and let rest of us know.
I would at least want to know things like - how accurate is the GPS - how good is the map and point of interest - how good is the route they give you - how good is the rerouting if you miss a turn - how long the battery last - how good is the voice direction - screen and the GPS unit feel and quality etc... |

LInewyork said:Staples i out of stock from the BFriday.. BUT , you can get the manager to give you the display one, and price match that to CompUSA. The one in Lakr Grove, NY was going to do that for me.. but then I kind of liked the FineDrive 400 more. Bigger screen ( helps when your driving, I think ? )
Fine Drive 400 $299 - $ 50 mail in - $ 30 ( off $150 office max ) = $210 final price....
Ask yourself this question, is bigger screen better?
Or a GPS unit that more accurate, can get better signal, give you a better driving route, can re-route (if you miss a turn) in second instead of minutes, and give you a good re-route, better maps, plus other features, etc more important?
Looks for other features first before look at the size of the screen. |

I just came back from the Danbury, CT CC. Took me about 45 mins to convince the manager to call up a CompUSA that was 41 miles away in NJ. But once he did, it turned out it was out of stock; no PM for me. I ended up buying it for the full $470, and will hopefully do a rebuy once it appears in a CompUSA close by. Has anyone had any luck around the NYC/Westchester area? Which CC should I go to?
Also, stopped by a Tweeter, but they were out of the InVion's. |

Well I got one at CompUSA and took my receipt into CC and tried to get a pricematch and their stupid electronics manager said "I'm sorry, but that's a special weekend sale and we can't pricematch that." How lame is that? |

I went CC on East 86th Street, 232 East 86th Street, New York, NY 10028 and brought the CompUSA print-outs indicating availability in its nearby stores such as Manhattan CompUSA Superstore New York, NY 10019 and Manhattan (5th Ave & 37th) CompUSA Superstore New York, NY 10018.
Was able to PM with no problems. Final price is $189.65. Hope this helps. |

wow $200 not bad though because on Thanksgiving day it was $229.99 - $50 MIR this is out the door for $200 so not bad. You know how CompUSA rebates are you are better off paying $20 more than waiting for the $50 MIR. |

Thanks for the info. You mean the print-outs from the website? The manager I was dealing with didn't believe those and made a phone call himself. I'll be in the city within the next three days, we'll see how it goes. |

I also am curious. I ordered the pharos, but it has not yet been shipped. Any guidance would be appreciated. |
