The Fry's Electronics rebate link (PDF) works now, but if you have trouble
anyway, use the link above for the exact same rebate form.

Free shipping WOW. THat's a helluva deal. Contrary to popular belief, if you choose the Onrebate 5% deduction and transfer to paypal account, you will have your rebate back inside of 2 weeks.

Edit: I assumed all Ultra rebates were with Onrebate. Sorry OP

anybody who has used this please help... can this be disassemble, in 4 flat panels may be, what are the rough dimensions? nm about the dimensions, google is my friend, but not friendly yet to talk about disassembly

tiaYou can drill out the rivets.

5%? I thought it was $2.50 flat charge for the "no-wait" paypal payment..

please clarify. thanks!

around 10%

the fee will be $4.50 for $40 rebate, $3.50 for $30 rebate. 10% + $0.50

Is this the same case we paid for $70 with 70 rebate black friday?
good deal

Thanks. I got both the PSU and the case. Crossing my fingers about the rebate.

I despise onrebate. They force us to give up a "minimal amount" for a lousy service. Instead of doing the rebate processing, they are telling consumer: hey we've got your money, if you want it back, pay ransom. How do I know: I tried one rebate without the fast payment, the rebate was approved but the award was never sent after 8 weeks as promised. I waited another two weeks. Not only that I called, they agreed to send out and I received it three days later. The CSR whom I talked to just checked her computer and said okay right away. What a scam!
Anyway, thanks OP. Good deal if you don't mind the rebate.

A dumb question: has anybody actually seen the rebate T&C? I am thinking about getting the FAR PSU with this, but will it be possible these use the same rebate?

As usual, the rebate is not available (yet).

If you order now, make a screen capture of page showing rebate.

Also remember to change shipping to FREE since it defaults to another method.

Brought one from MicroCenter over 2 months ago. Painfully awaiting for rebate from ULTRAslow.

It's not ideal, but given the alternatives out there (i.e., you send in your rebate materials, then never receive anything and nobody ever responds to your inquiries), OnRebate's not so bad. I've never had a problem with a rebate that wasn't my own fault...

I've been waiting for a total of $150 Ultra products' rebates from Onrebate for 5 months, and still counting. Never touch neither of them again.

Anyone have the rebate form? All of a sudden it is gone. As in the website won't load.

webmonkey said: [Q]Brought one from MicroCenter over 2 months ago. Painfully awaiting for rebate from ULTRAslow.

Should've gone directly to OnRebate (I'm assuming you used the d/l rebate form instead). Less hassle and you get tracking numbers and so forth for peace of mind.

Liar

My experience with onrebate is not bad, at least as of now. Got the 30$ rebate for this case bought 2 months ago and the 25$ rebate for the ultra 400w power supply. Both rebates are through onrebate (paypal without acceleration fee).

On the other hand, I had my AG's office intervene for a $3.00 rebate on one Ultra/NoRebate offer. The other 2, again thru NoRebate for Ultra power supplies took 16 weeks. Beware.

Before you jump, read this and other threads in the rebate section, then search Google.

It's your money. For me, "nORebate" is history.

No more Onrebate for me, thank you. I have approved rebates sitting there since August without being issued. And I have an overseas trip coming up due to which I have no time for these bsatards. They know pretty much this is the state with most people. Will get to them after I get back. People, please be warned about OnRebate.

The rebate form has not been uploaded yet. It may be later tonight or tomorrow until it shows up. Actually, we just need UL-xxxx number to submit the rebate info and print the rebate form from Onrebate.

Onrebate is slow. I've done in excess of 100 rebates with them and their times vary but here's an estimate:

Check by mail: 10 to 12 weeks after submission. Also, be prepared to email/call them if the website status isn't progressing.
Payment by Paypal: They've recently shortened this. They told me it should take the same as above but I've gotten emails saying the payment will be made in 4 weeks !
Expedited Payment: About a week after they receive your submission. I refuse to pay them this fee, but if you're in a hurry...

Good catch OP, in for case + ps @ $5.00 tax AR...

Anyway, thanks OP. Good deal if you don't mind the rebate.I agree they're a horrible company. maybe not the worst but still bad. I did finally get my rebates. They say 8-10 weeks and if you follow their instructions EXACTLY you'll get it in no less than 10 weeks from your approval day which for me was about 2 weeks after I submitted materials.

Someone on SD claims the rebate for the ps is not thru OnRebate this time. They said is was with rebate-zone.com. I sent them a PM asking for the form.

I'll update when and if I receive more info.

Well, I can't compete with blueribb <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border=0>, but here's my tally:

30 rebates redeemed thru OnRebate.com
19 received
11 outstanding (but all are received in processing, from past few months purchased)

Only one was ever rejected, because I forgot to sign the form, but a call to Angel and a fax fixed that.

Yes, they can be a little slow, but I always receive them. No slower than some other rebate houses. I think the speed with which you are paid sometimes depends on the vendor. I had one rebate (PCUSA was the vendor) that took FOREVER, but they eventually paid it. Actually, TigerDirect was going to pay it after I complained, but then the rebate came. Come to think of it, I'd rather have OnRebate process a PCUSA rebate than PCUSA themselves, because that company will definitely try to screw you.

Here's my recommended procedure for processing OnRebate rebates:
  • Get and print your rebate from OnRebate.com.
  • Sign it and date it, that day.
  • Tape your UPC or photocopy of UPC to the rebate form.
  • Get original (or copy, if allowed) of invoice or receipt. Make sure it says invoice or receipt somewhere on it.
  • Staple the invoice/receipt behind the rebate form.
  • Make a copy of your rebate or scan it (this photocopy will show your signed/date rebate form, taped UPC, and a staple in the upper corner where you stapled your receipt). I'll assume you can retrieve another copy of your invoice/receipt if need be; if not, make sure you have a copy of that on file as well.
  • If you can, print an envelope with a barcode zip on it. In Microsoft Word this is the field code: { BARCODE "33144-9002"\\u } for the usual OnRebate zip+4. Note: I have never cut out their label and affixed it to an envelope. I always print my envelopes right in the printer.
  • Stick your rebate in the envelope, affix postage, and mail it.
  • Done!

That's about it. I'll see if I can put a link here to a sample envelope that anyone can use.

    Stay tuned...

    Update:

Here's a link to Microsoft Word document that you can print to generate a No. 10 envelope with Zip Code barcode. Just change your return address in the upper left corner and the Send To address and you'll be good to go. I forgot what they call the graphic that is up in the upper right corner, but I've been printing these for years and never had a problem. Enjoy...

    Sample Rebate Envelope.doc

p.s. - BTW, I never address these envelopes manually; I use a Microsoft Access database for my rebates, and a Microsoft Word mailmerge to generate them automatically. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border=0>

  • I have the rebate form for the power supply if anyone needs it. Can someone host it ?

    It's not OnRebate

    in 4 one, thanks op

I have a stupid question here. Now the rebate link is not working, is this gonna be a problem if order now? anyone has experience please clarify..

I have both rebate forms now. PM me if you need them (with your email address).

Thanks OP, ordered one. Hope the rebate goes smoothly.

blueribb said: [Q]I have both rebate forms now. PM me if you need them (with your email address).

Sent ya PM -- I can host them...

It is not an Onrebate rebate. Rebate goes to White Bear Lake, MN and status via www.rebate-zone.com/ultra.

I did not see a way to attach files at FW, but I uploaded the rebate form to the thread on SD.

try here for rebate form PSU rebate and Case

they did take long time. But I so far get all of them (have at least 4 "Ultra" PSUs and many Ultra rams, case etc etc)
Its much better to have an instant reference (instead of sending in those and never see them...)

    It's not OnRebate

    What's the offer #?

Rebates hosted in the Quick Summary.

And that stuff above (about OnRebate), just use that advice for your next OnRebate rebate, as these are not OnRebate rebates.

And see if you say that sentence above really fast, like five times in a row. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border=0>

Could you please send two forms to roy516@gmail.com. THanks.

Thanks OP. I've been waiting for a FAR case.

Received today a $15 check (for Ultra Quick AA/AAA charger w/ 4 AA batties bought from eCost), a $40 check (for Ultra Wizard Blue case bought from outpost) and a $18 check (for Ultra 512MB SD card bought from eCost). Ultra rebates at rebate-zone.com appeared quick & reliable.
