it's annoying to see the scooba take an hour to do something that just takes a few minutes to do by hand with a swiffer wetjet (which uses $0.50 disposable cleaning pads)...i keep thinking that these robots would be convenient and that i should get one, but always conclude that they are still just be a novelty at this point...did anybody else feel the same way but end up getting one? do you feel the purchase was justified? |

That may be true about the scooba but the regular roomba picks up dirt that u may or may not see..it can pick up dog hairs, etc etc. I do agree that the scooba may be a novelty but the regular one sure seems one hell of an arguement.
I only see one review for the intellibin roomba on Amazon and it aint good. So torn!! |

My thoughts EXACTLY. And I still have the cart open debating whether or not to get one. |

I bought the Scooba when it was on sale at Woot recently and I am very happy so far after 8 uses. I am sure I could do the job much more quickly myself but the nice part is I don't have to. It takes about 2 minutes to prep Scooba between uses and then all I have to do is click a button and leave the room. 45 minutes later it is all done and the floor is clean. It is pretty loud though. |

Yes they take longer, but that's not really the point.
The point is that you don't HAVE to watch them work, just let them work and leave. A washing machine and a dishwasher both take longer than doing it by hand, but it doesn't really matter how long something takes if you aren't doing anything!
I love my Roomba scheduler. It cleans while I'm at work, who cares how long it takes it to get done?

Yes, it does.
"Safe to use on all sealed hardwood, tile and linoleum."
As I posted before, you can find the answers to pretty much every question that you have in the Roomba and Scooba Message Boards.
(Just use the search bar at the top, rather than digging through everything.)

Big Thanks to the OP. My wife and I just ordered these. The coupon code also works on the scooba clorox cleaning solution and anything else you order on the site.
One thing though -- they charged us tax in NY which came to about $19, but w/free 2 day shipping and the google checkout discount it was all good.
Can't believe I'm getting 6% FatCash to boot.

Mine shows just fine. Perhaps you need to clear your cache and cookies and start shopping again? |

Thanks Flagg...Looks like I'm set for life (at least the life of the scooba!) I got 5 bottles with my initial order, then realized I could get the 9 bottles for only $2 more than I'd paid for the 5 with my scooba order. So being a greedy fatwalleter I made another GCO order of 9 bottles too! Maybe I can return the 5 after they arrive. |
