at the san jose, ca LNT store, the sales clerk was trying to decline my 20% LNT coupon saying you can't get the rebate and coupon at the same time. I told him I don't care about the rebate. He consulted with some manager guy and finally allowed the coupon... btw, I got the BD toaster. There's a whole stack of them (along with the blender, iron) in store...

Thanks OP. Got 1 oven and 1 dustbuster. Used two 20% off BBB coupons. Manager told me either rebate or coupon as per ad. I chose coupon.

PS: There is stack of ovens, irons, blenders but only 3-4 pieces of dustbusters at Stevens creek, West San Jose, CA LNT.

The email I got mentioned no coupons for the vacumes.
There was an asterisk near the vacumes and the *detail was no coupons.
The "*" didn't apply to the B&D items.
There was also no mention on their website about not using coupons with the B&D items.
However, many have mentioned there's a sign at the stores stating no coupons can be used with the B&D rebate items.
Some have had luck with LNT coupons where others have been refused.
Everyone who has used a BBB coupon has had success.
Some have been given a choice of coupon or rebate.
If you encounter this, choose the coupon and get the rebate from online.
Many have mentioned using coupons on rebate items in the past and they've never lost their rebate.
Some CSR's claim the rebate will be adjusted the amount of the coupon.
Those who have used coupons in the past have said that they've always gotten the full rebate amount.

I did able to use the coupon instore.

My store had no idea what I was even talking about when I asked which B&D coffee makers were part of this. So I borrowed their computer, got the number, and checked out with the coupon, no problem. Rebate says NOTHING about no use of coupons and is, in fact, through B&D, NOT LNT.

Just got back from LNT- manager had no clue about this rebate (West Los Angeles). Used 20% off coupon successfully on every product. Got home, called rebate center, customer service verified that it's $20 rebate PER qualifying product and should send the form with appropriate products checked off, all UPCs in one envelope, and yes, can use coupons on these.

I got toasteroven and blender used 20% coupon on both, came out to be about $51 bucks after taxes, and will get $40 back in rebate!

**EDIT: called 1800 number again and asked about managers telling people it's coupon OR rebate, different customer service lady said you can do both, and told me sometimes you "can be misinformed" at the stores.

So if you buy one item and send in the rebate info and buy another item later and send it in another envelope, they'll baulk at that?

I went to the LNT at Stevens Creek and Lawrence around noon and there were loads of dust busters. The other products were being moved to the middle aisle but the dust busters were taking up two whole shelves in the regular vacuum area.

Was told at register that it was either the rebate or the coupon. I opted for the coupon and the lady gave me a funny look and told me choosing rebate would give me the cheaper price.

I can second those... the huge dustbuster stock and the lady's funny look. I was just down at the store. Scored a few vacuums and a toaster oven.

Thereis a $5 pricegrabber rebate for the vacuum. So it will be free after 20% off and $20 rebate.

Thanks for heads up on $5 pricegrabber. Got 1 review bonus form.

LNT in Sherman Oaks, CA has plenty of stock on toaster ovens and vacuums. Pretty sure I saw the other 3 items there as well. You can check your local store stock online by going to LNT.com, putting the item in your shopping cart and then following the instructions for store pick up. It will give you a choice of all your local stores based on your zip code and you can see which ones have the item you want or just call the store.

Bought both toaster and vacuum in store with 2 20% off coupons. Although the sign near the stock says no coupons, the coupon does not have any restrictions listed for these items. Clerk took both coupons without blinking. Also rebate form does not say anything about a minimum purchase price or not valid with any other offers, so I expect there won't be any problems getting the full $20 rebate for each item and if there is, they'll be plenty of grounds for dispute.

So, got:
Toaster: $29.99 - $6.00(20% off)+ $1.98tax - $20.00 rebate = $5.97
Vacuum: $29.99 - $6.00(20% off)+ $1.98tax - $20.00 rebate - $5.00 Pricegrabber rebate = $0.97

Great deal! Thanks OP and kcliou!

Does anybody know where to find BBB or LNT's coupons?
I have 2 already, 20% and $5 off each item, but my mom really wants the dustbuster, too.

Anyone has free shipping coupon.. looks like in store pick up is dead..
Also looks like they have become pretty smart by not allowing in store pickup..

the ad says REBATE BY MAIL, NO COUPONS event ends 1/7/07 LNT.com #17789006

I want to get my girlfriend a dustbuster for our 5 year anniversary. Do you think this makes a good gift?

Was this 20% off coupon received in email or snail mail? I had one email few days back in which I saw the 20% off coupon on a single item. It's pdf which can be printable, but unfortunately that coupon expired 12/15. If this new 20% off coupon was also received in email, can anybody post the pdf?

Thanks,

I was able to use an expired 20% LNT coupon (expired on December 24) to buy a blender yesterday. But the CSR allowed the expired coupon on only one item. I also bought a toaster.
