You don't have to have prime to get the $5 promo discount. Prime just gives you shipping on any price order. If you are not Prime, just buy something over $25 to get free shipping.

Prime = up to 100% off
Not Prime = up to 20% off

Exactly... Amazon may target the Prime accounts (because they will abuse this)and cancel those and maybe let the non-prime go through, but it is too early to tell. We will see tomorrow...

Pre-ordered 7th Harry Potter book, and added Sabrina(1954) dvd to bring the total to $20.86. Not much of a deal without prime though, but I might as well try to sneak a cheap dvd in on a pre-order.

Wow, you placed 4 orders in the last 30 minutes and Amazon has already printed off invoices, address labels, and boxed and shipped your items. Dang, I did not realize Amazon was that fast, (even with next day delivery).

Just checked and my orders are indeed in Shipping Soon status...might just mean I can't change or cancel them though.

Thanks for the effort, but the Amazon Prime offer doesn't work that way - there's no link to get it. Amazon will just randomly choose which accounts to give the free trials to.
