On the front page of the 2/25 to 3/3 Targe't B&M AD:

Free Phone with purchase

Get both a $100 T-Mobile Airtime Card and a freebie Pay-As-You-Go Nokia 6030 Phone (a $39.99 value) for $88.

The phone includes $10 / 30 minutes of starter "activation" airtime good for 90 days.

T-Mobile Pre-Paid Coverage

Just FYI: lots of people asked how to unlock the phone, here is what I know: activate and wait for 1 month and call CSR, they will give you the unlock code, the reason is: will go out of country.

FM Radio: FM radio on this Nokia 6030 works fine with the supplied headset (it needs to be connected). No need for special headsets (unless stereo is what you want)

data cable info here.
(does not work with Nokia PC Suite but does work with "MobiMB Mobile Media Browser")

This beats what T-Mobile.com is offering right now. FYI, the last one I got at Target was indeed an RM-225 - so good luck unlocking it.

Return the phone later to reduce the price of the $100 card even more. The receipt will assign it a cost somewhere in the mid $20's. At least that's how it worked on the last few similar deals.

Can I use that $100 recharge to my existing to go card?

I don't get all the red here. Target knows people do that, so they break down the cost on the receipt for just that reason. People buy the bundle, then return a phone that normally sells for %39.99 for around $25. Then Target sells that new returned phone to the next person for $39.99.

I had a real tough time with this. Last time there was a deal like this, I bought Sat evening. Attempted a return/rebuy the next morning. Manager tells me that the phones cannot be returned once they are purchased because they are activated when you buy them. If they are returned, Target has to trash them, they cannot be resold. When I bought them, I specifically asked the guy in electronics if they could be returned and he said "yes". That was my only saving grace. They returned them, but had no others in stock, so I had to go to another store and get them.

Or you can be more ethical and probably make more money anyway by fleabaying the phone.

And this is exactly what took this from a good deal to a killer deal on a $100 phone card last time. Go buy the FAR phone from T-Mobile, and you're set. Got 2 phones and cards for my wife and I last time. Still using them.

Does anyone know the expirations of the 2 cards if any?

And this is exactly the kind of thing that makes retailers give me 5 kinds of crap when I try to return things that are legit.

Stealing by any other name is still stealing.

It's all shown on the receipt, and there's nothing illegal about it. No one else reported any problems with this last time that I remember (it was a huge thread). SafetyDance probably got one of those managers that hate to see someone get a super hot deal, so he tried to keep him from returning the phone.

It's not stealing. If Target splits the cost up on the receipt, then it's perfectly legit. If they show it as a bundle price, then it's something that can't be done. I remember a recent hot deal at CC that was to purchase a PC and monitor, then you could return the monitor (split price on receipt). Major green on that one, so I don't understand why doing the same thing here has generated red from several people. If it's legit, then it should be no problem to do.

Plus you have to apply the cards to a phone in a certain time limit after purchase. I can't remember if it's 45 days or ??? Anyone out there remember?

Anyone got a scan of that page? I think I can't find it in my mail box.

The end user has to activate the phones. The $100 card, different story. That is activated at point of sale.
