Clearly they try to avoid paying the rebates. I got a rejection notice stating I did not include a copy of the firt months bill. I of course did. I have copies of everything and was asked to re send everything. I am sure they will try once again to avoid paying when they pulled the stunt they did.

i got these rebates for almost 3-4 times now.. last time i F***d up and didn't send it in time.. and lost it.. This is how i m having cable for the last 2-3 yrs I guess..Have copies of everything u send and send it in time with the right bill and there is no way they can skrew u...

Even the shady rebate outfits, such as broadbandoffers.com, pay some of the rebates. But it seems obvious that they are playing games with our rebate submissions. There are just TOO many complaints.
Wierd, I got my installation kit but comcast said they don't have any order to activate my service. So far I didn't get any reply to my emails and there is no phone number to call. Well, at least I got some free cable and a free splitter.

After what you are all saying, I am little scared now to try them again. But, they also let you see the status of the rebate online ( I don't remember the website now). Hopefully they don't do it to me. But I am prepared. It is worth the hassle ($100 Cash Back.. so paying $20 for internet for 6 months.. + cable charges compulsory even if you didn't want cable).
