I've lagged behind in laptop knowledge. I assume this is a pretty warm deal? Can you easily upgrade the RAM on this badboy?

TIAIf you can get it for $380 its a hot deal. RAM upgrade is super simple and takes less than 1 min.

I assume there is another memory slot empty for upgrade right? when I look at the spec detail sheet on Toshiba site, I saw that it said both slots may have been occupied. Can anyone confirm that.
Also, do anyone know how's the battery life. Is it a 6 cells?

Spec Detailnumber of cells inside a battery means nothing. The battery is 4000mah which is normal.

Really people...the processors Delta in speed wont be noticable. The hard drive and ram speed are the big bottlenecks...its not worth arguing over <20 %

I haven't done it, but I've read plenty of stories of failures, even on easy PMs. Nothing says you won't run into easy CSR, just that they are few and far between at OD.

You'll need a dimwit store manager to get this PM. Better to try online, order it then call for PM. Cancel the order if PM is denied.

You must have ordered online for in store PU with cash option. Not for delivery.

Office Depot weekly ad shows this same computer for the same price as BB, after rebate. I feel the possiblity of PM as grim.

I have checked at local OD store. The price tag now is 529.00. Some one in OD inventory department is intelligent.. final price: 749 - 200 OD rebate - 20 IR = 529 + taxes now.
