PM BB's OTD price at OD and your final cost is $680 - $150 PM - $150 MIR = $380.
As always, PMs are highly YMMV and you are likely to get shut down - OD manager might notice rebate, might invent a reason why PM is rejected, might call BB and check stock, might not have gotten any last night and so is in a bad mood.

For those looking to revert to XP:
I've just finished doing this, and man did it suck. First of all, the drivers that come with the CD does not work for XP (in case you thought it might). Especially the sound card one; if you install that, then you're asking for trouble, because all it does is make your computer hick up. Also, the drivers on ATI website for the 200M under XP do not work. It will complain that the hardware and Windows version are not compatible with the drivers.
Here is what you can do: Install Windows XP Once you are done, you will get 5 warnings about unknown hardwares, ignore any attempt by XP to install these for you, all you'll get is a "can not find drivers" for your trouble. Think about it, if windows could detect and install the correct drivers, wouldn't it have been done already?
Get the drivers for them as follows:
Video - Use Omega ATI drivers found here *note: due to ATI's horrible support for its own hardware, Omega is a project to create updated drivers for ATI cards. It is done by the community and not sponsored by ATI. I have always found them to be very reliable, but use at your own risk.
SM Bus Controller - Use ATI South Bridge drivers found here
Modem - Use Realtek Modem drivers found here *note: I had to do a manual install on this one, not sure why the setup didn't work. If it doesn't for you, just right click the device (in hardware list), update driver, and say you know the location, pick modem, have disk, and find it in the folder. Also, make sure you install the sound card first. The modem is off of the sound card, and won't install correctly unless the sound card is installed first.
Wireless - Use Atheros Wireless Card drivers found here *note: Do not use the Vista drivers, use the ones under it
There will be 2 final Warnings. These two belong to Vista hot start buttons, and at this time there are no XP drivers for them. I doubt there ever will. Good luck, and I do not accept any responsibility for these drivers. They worked for me, and I have installed them on 3 of these laptops; all works.

Faster speed, that's all. I think you could say that Dual-core is the "Celeron" version of Core-Duo The only thing that I see different is the cache size.

And it's based on the older Pentium M core, not the Core or Core2 cores so clock for clock it's about 20% slower.

t2080 is a core duo w/ half the cache. it's not based on any other architecture.

sweet deal if pm flies. even sweeter if $ off coupons can be applied.
Starting on Apr 22 (this Sunday), Rebate Depot has the Toshiba A135-S2386 laptop for $680 - $150 MIR = $530 btw, is the bolded text a slip of the tongue?
guys what would be the best strategy to get this deal, Can we buy this today online and pick up in store tomorrow and price match?. Or possible only in the B&M ?. Any creative ideas will be helpful.

Any creative ideas will be helpful.Online for me said delivery only. OD has been clearing out these older cpu laptops, so YMMV on whether they are in stock at a B&M OD.
