I ordered on Sunday. Originally my ship date was 5/14. But this morning I got a notification that it shipped DHL and is scheduled to come on Monday. Thanks OP for the code that triggered my wife's stamp of approval. She has been poo pooing my Canon P&S since she has quite a bit of experience with 35mm SLRs. Does anybody know if DHL will require a signature? |

When I checked my status to see what day my camera should arrive I saw that it said signature required. |

I also got the shipment e-mail today. I am very happy now.
I am going to have to make sure i am there to sign for it, thanks for the heads-up on the signature required. |

DHL man knocked on my door to deliver it, but left the package in front of the door without having me to sign anything. By the time I reached the door all I saw was his back on the way to his van. Online tracking showed signed by F. Thompson, receptionist (no such person in the house). My advise, make sure somebody is ready to take it inside just in case they leave package without anybody signing for it. You know want to loose something like this and dispute a lost package with DHL. Good thing for me, the house is far from any other possible neighbor and on top of a hill. Enjoy your 400D, I know I'm enjoying mine. Time to look for a 8GB 150X/better CF memory card. |
