I just sent Mr. Walter Osterman an email... I told him that I would file a claim with the BBB and seek legal action if I did not receive a response. |

That is the only way I got a response. I received a second call playing a recording the other day. They said they know about my request and will be contacting me soon, and that if I attempt to call them about it, it will not expedite it. I had requested a flight date for August 3, which has already passed. According to their response from BBB, they were supposed to call me the last week of July to book. What a headache. |

I got a call playing the recording again: "Hello, this call is being made on behalf of the Dockers/JCPenney Fathers Day promotion. We have received your request to still be booked for a flight based on promotional availability. We are committed to contacting you and a booking agent will be contacting you to discuss your options. Contacting us will not expedite the process. We have extended the booking window. Thank you for your patience." Well, at least I got some response from them, even if it is, "We know you are still waiting." Somehow, I still doubt I will get my free flight. |

magnoliatexas - did u hear anything from dockers? MagnoliaTexas said:I too have been trying to contact TLC about the Free trip vouchers I sent in. I emailed the company today with the email addrss given on the TLC website and the email was sent back with a Non Current Email address message. Seems they have taken down the email address down to contacting them.
I called Docker's at 800-362-5377 and they were most helpful. I haven't been confirmed yet and working on that now, but at least I feel I'm getting somewhere with someone.

I got a voicemail from a live person yesterday! I thought it was the booking agent, but it is not. I called back and they asked me if i still want to book my flight. I said "YES!" They said that they are "currently renegotiating their contract with the airlines to provide the flights and that this is expected to take several weeks." I will be contacted after the negotiations are done and they have a new contract. They said I will be contacted by phone and that if my travel dates have passed, I will have to pick new travel dates. Travel must be taken by June 2009. If anyone wants the number, it is 617-788-9600. The ext of the person I spoke with is 677, name is Iesha. Is anyone else waiting for their flight to be booked? What do you think the chances are we will get one? I am thinking about just accepting the $125 cash now. It doesn't sound good. Renegotiating their contract? What does that even mean? |

I opted for cash on their other promotion, (the one for the free hotel stay for purchasing dockers at Kohls). I haven't gotten the cash yet but did receive a post card in the mail yesterday saying I should receive it in 60 days. |

My hubby and I opted for the cash (at the time, it was $200). We just received it - did take about the 6 weeks we were told. With it is a letter explaining that the check is in agreement of completion of the free flight and cashing it is tacit approval of their completion. Killed me to cash it - but am soooo happy to be done with them. Never again! Now I'll be looking for the TLC sponsorship the same way I look for the TrendWest sponsorship. =/ |
