This may be a good deal, but be warned Dockers totally mishandled last years DVD player offer, causing a seven month headache for many fatwallters. The cs reps at dockers gave misleading and incorrect information, in the end many of us did not feel satisfied with the "replacement" player offered.
Travel under this program is ONLY from one of the designated US airports to one of the following destinations in the continental US: Boston, New York City, Washington D.C., Miami, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Chicago, Orlando, or Dallas.
Airport taxes and fees, passenger service charges and airline failure insurance are not covered by the voucher and, where applicable, must be paid upon confirmation of reservation by credit card.
The free flight voucher is valid until 7/31/08 all free flights must be booked prior to that date.

125 for a RT is good. anyone know how restrictive the flight schedules are...?

Yeah, I've got a sneaky suspicion that most of the trip combinations that you'll "want" to use won't work (like weekends...Detroit to Las Vegas in my case).

The link wasn't working in Mozilla, only IE. Finally got it.
You have to submit 3 destinations for booking, so you're not guaranteed any particular city. If you don't care where you end up, then still a good deal. I'll have to pass.

I don't have any use for men's dockers. Is there anyway around that?

This sort of reminds me of a promotion that Ralphs grocery offered a few years back (I think it was called "Great Escapes"). Very few people were able to actually take advantage of the "vouchers". There was a class action suit, and Ralphs ended up sending out coupon books usable in their stores as settlement.
I certainly hope this one works better!
Thanks OP, I need some pants anyway.

I am not sure if it would work or not, but if you pull up mens dockers on their web-site, it shows luggage. It might be worth a try.
I should have looked first:
Qualifying Purchases: Purchase $125 or more of men’s Dockers® apparel and/or accessories only (does not apply to women’s apparel, eyewear or luggage) (“Qualifying Purchases”) (pre-tax amount after application of all discounts, if any). Retain the ORIGINAL sales receipt or on-line receipt with order number and circle the eligible items

Get a man! sorry, knee jerk response.
alternatively, if you think the free ticket will happen, buy the pants and donate them. I am sure some needy person going on job interviews would love some brand new dockers.

Found an interesting suggestion on another deal site:
"Just buy $125 of dockers clothes on sale and return without receipt" or purchase online and return instore with a copy of the receipt

Do you think this deal is worth the extra effort? It sounds like the flights are pretty restrictive. I do live within 20 miles of 3 airports on their departure list though.

Returning merchandise to Penney's without a receipt will just get you in-store credit. I guess you could always fleabay the gift card or something? With a deal like this, I would assume Dockers will work directly with Penney's to check receipts in the system before giving out vouchers. Who knows though?

Last year I added a sun glasses and a belt from dockers, I got my (7") DVD player. But this time I see that they exluded eyewear
I can see calling Micheal from Dockers again this year - I think I pass as I can guarantee that if you try to take advantage of additional tickets it'll be impossible or outrageously priced...
Give me an iPod or something that has a brand a fixed value and I'll consider it...

"three different destination and date preferences", you can fill in the same destination with 3 different dates, I guess.

From my past experience, JCP has one of best customer service. If you still have the receipt, I would ask very nicely if you could return your item, and rebuy them so that you could qulify for the free tix. If true, tell them a nice story that will make their hearts melt. Such as, this ticket will come in handy when I visit my mom, I haven't seen her for ages. Or this will allow my son to come home for Thanksgiving this year, you get the idea.

If you don't have the receipt, just return them for a GC, then buy them again next week with the GC...
i believe they called me sometime in September for check option and i received it beginning on nov. if you have not received call dockers' customer service.
