I didn't see this in any of the recent Sears sales posts and was a little surprised at that. This is a pretty cool screwdriver and is currently on sale for $14.99 (down from 19.99). The screwdriver handle contains 6 bits that load by pulling out and twisting the handle. The bit that you selected then pops up into the slot and is held in place magnetically. This prevents you from having to switch screwdrivers and also makes it harder to lose bits. The bits can be replaced simply by pulling them out and inserting a new one into the open slot. I have one and its definitely a time and space saver.
Available at B&M and online, shipping is extra of course but you can also do in-store pickup. If you want one, get it soon, the sale ends 6/17/07.

costco does (or did) carry something similar to this. it came in a pack with a small & large size driver with multi-bits in each handle. it may have even had 2 of each in the pack, can't remember. but it was very inexpensive, & i find myself using them often.
Starts out with handle retracted in 'normal' position and one bit out. To change, pull out on the handle, turn until the bit you want is selected then push handle back in. Voila, the bit you selected is now loaded and ready to use. Takes a second or two to change, maybe longer if you are slow or old and can't see the bits ;p

Anyone know if Costco stores still stock these? How long ago did you guys purchase yours there?

That's surprising... how often do people really need to use that one? I think T-6 is the right size to open my PDA (Palm Tungsten C) and old cell phone (Nokia), but people that buy these multi-screwdriver-type tools tend to be casual fix-it types, not the kind to open up small electronics...

i noticed that, too. T6 is also what you need to crack open a Macbook Pro.

that must be an old description. the two i bought didn't come with a torx bit. 3 phillips & 3 flatheads
