for all the rebate with PC purchase, do they require just a copy of laptop UPC or original UPC?

$50 off $500 Staples coupon can save you 50 bucks if you buy them online

Green for OP but I will pass. Way too much rebate work for me personally. I did a series of McAfee rebates a while back and had to call on several and fax resubmissions.

Good luck to those who do this...

This deal sounds like fun; great post OP.
Is it going to be available online?

This looks like great fun. Too bad I don't have the cash to play along at the moment.

It would be great to see a thread of all of the purchases, each rebate, when the rebate was submitted, and then updates as each rebate comes back. By the time it is done, you may have enough material for a book.

Green from me!

kevin

btw, if i did only Norton AntiVirus 2006 version (but did it within the sep 2006 to dec 2007 dates), then i don't have to worry about the limit 1 per customer, as this is the 2007 version, right? thanks.

Well, you can apply for a new zero-percent APR credit card to sweeten the deal if you do not have cash at hand!

Excellent post! However, if you've done any of the software rebates within the time period stated, buyer beware. Limit may be 1 per the usual. I just checked some of my BF McAfee purchases and they were the same offer #. bummer - it looked so good.

Thanks for posting.

23+ Rebates. I'm not going to do this (even though I've done hundreds of rebates)

OP, you are a true FW'er !!

What is POP when it says original POP?

Good catch! You can only qualify for one.

They don't require the UPC at all. Just a copy of a receipt showing the purchase of a computer.

If you suddenly have 25+ rebates submissions to McAfee&norton, will it be considered as rebate abuse?

For the Norton 360, the upgrade rebate and the purchase w/ PC rebate both require original UPC.

I will pass. Too many rebates

I kind of remember was told by the staple rebate representative that, probably 1 shredder only could corresponds to 1 MIR/Shredder rebate; so i guess it could be a same thing for PC ...
