-Print sale ad from: Sears' HP w2207 Monitor Sale Link (note: the print out in FireFox and IE from this site will probably end up looking a bit disheveled, but that's normal. Most likely Sears is having some website issues)
- Go to any retailer that will price match, usually one with 110% price matching, and show them the ad to price match.
- YMMV on this deal, but if they price match it, you've got yourself a pretty sweet little deal
- Don't forget that the sale at Sears ends on the 28th, so act quickly or wait for a better deal in the future. Another user has said, as stated in the thread, that Sears will be having another similar sale on that same monitor in the future, so if you miss out on this one, there will (hopefully) be another one coming up again soon.
Rough estimate of the total price, with tax and 110% price match: $255-$258

I was going to post this on the first day of the Sears sale, but then it went out of stock, within hours. I heard from a Sears associate that this would go on sale again. Otherwise, YMMV on getting CC to pricematch for something not in stock. Though, if first you don't succeed, don't complain, wait until later, and try again.
Ya'll think this LCD is worth it specs wise? I want a 22" to do some photo editing (amateur/hobby) .. my laptop lcd shows color way off then what comes out on print and other monitors. Don't need a high end pro stuff but also don't want another PoS screen or break the bank.

you need something to color calibrate your monitor.
I posted what I felt was a warm deal on a 22" WS monitor for $220, without any price matching or messing around - and got flamed. This monitor, for $30 more, with a lot of price matching and looking for a total idiot working at BB (granted, that IS easy), is hot?

Yeah, it's a badass monitor that rarely goes on sale, and if you can combine a $40 coupon with it, it gets even hotter. But you have to like glossy screens. Personally, from first-hand comparisons against other monitors, it beats most comers in the 22-inch range hands down. It just sounds like there's a lot of leg work, of course, the OP could have summed up his method in just a few lines.

Good point, and I've seen this monitor up close (freind of mine has one). I could live with it (Duh!).
Lemme see here...

Print Sears.com ad Take to CC/BB/OD/HHGregg/some other store you hate Take to checkout - whip out Sears.com ad. Get price match. Take home. Enjoy
Can someone throw up a .pdf of their printout? Everytime I print its getting jumbled up, and I'm afraid this is just going to make BB/CC CS check out the website and find it out of stock...
This deal is very, very YMMV. Basically, you have to get a clerk who won't check Sears' stock. At both places I tried, the clerks did their jobs and checked with Sears. I was impressed that they not only checked the Sears website but actually called up a few local stores too.

Great monitor, I got the 20" version for $180. But this isnt the hottest deal of all time on this monitor including the leg work that is needed. This monitor has been posted here on fatwallet for $260 with no hassles and or opportunity of making the 5 o'clock news for photo shopping a print out.
PS the stand on the monitor is 11 inches deep and if your desk is flush against a wall the monitor will be two inches from your face. Recommended....BIG DESK
Wow the OP could have stated this deal in one paragraph or less instead of the novel lol!
Every time I have price matched anything at BB they always call the store to see if the product is actually in stock... wishful thinking but I doubt I could get this deal.
