I am trying to figure out why one would buy this other than the "cool" factor. It is too slow to make large number of copies for business use, yet too expensive to occasional home use.

Would not want to give anyone a disc written on by a Sharpee or a wrinkled gummy paper label. Also with two dives it's twice as fast and at $199 with free shipping very affordable
Why not just install two DVD burners in your PC. Then you can do whatever you want with them, including everything this can do.

Coz Duplicator work fast and easy, my Copystars Duplicator made 7 DVD in 6 minutes without coaster , All 7 DVDs pop out at the same time. The Aleratec lightscribe tower is a bullSxx , it can't do multiple burners as USB bandwidth limited or terrible underrun. lightsrcibe printing is not doing the same time as burn, you need to flip and print, bad quality expensive disc. I use my Copystars tower + xlnt inkjet disc printer, printing is automatic done in 20 sec with pretty photo of my son.
