Looks great to me! I love how 3M is always giving stuff away! Thank you!

These are recommended by my HVAC guy... Those cheapos only work when they're completely covered in dust.

THANKS !!!

I'm trying to figure out if this rebate will be valid for the car air filters that 3M now makes. Any ideas?

BTW, I just found these interesting video on how to replace your car filter.

If you have one of the 1000 series filters from Target with their store $1/2 off coupons, wander off to Lowe's/HD and buy. Use the coupon match and unlike target where the coupon is linked to the item, it will be at the bottom of the receipt, and enough to pay the sales tax if you are so cursed.

Where did the rebate form originally come from (package, pad, e-mail, website, etc.)? The form
says that it can't be reproduced, so if it came from somewhere that is easily identifiable (like
a coupon in or on the package) and this is just a scan, the rebate could easily be denied. If it
came from the web or e-mail, chances are much better.

My bet is that the car filter is considerably larger than a one-inch filter.

I think the statement is generic in nature. If it's hosted on the 3M website itself, I don't see a problem.

Good catch, thanks for pointing out!

Maybe that is why their stock is trading in the $3 range...

alert mods

where can I buy the filter from?

Honda, Toyota only?

Orrrr maybe it's because they have "too much" stock out there? If they were really worried about it, they could do a reverse split.

I'm not so sure these are car filters but are house furnace filters and air cleaner filters.

The HVAC who installed my furnace in the house when new as well as different HVAC guy who extended the runs when I finished my basement. Both said the Filtrete reduces air flow and reduces the efficiency of the unit.

The tip HVAC #1 gave - spray the "cheapo" filter lightly with Pledge or other similar furniture polish spray, that will attract the finer dust particles, maximizes the air flow and keeps $$$ in your pocket.

Do you mean the ~$3 paper filters or the ulta-cheap (~$1) spun fiber filters?

The mechanic I got to service my HVAC suggested this filter. Nice find OP

I never received my 3m post-it picture paper rebate of $15 from last year.
There was not a phone number or email address on that rebate either.
I know 3m is huge, different product lines, but no contact info is still strange.
