Somewhat iffy - 07-75380 AND 07-71356 require the original UPC. While the 71356 on CC mentions original UPC OR email confirmation, the 71356 at CA mentions both. But then confuses the matter with :
Enclose a copy of the receipt and the original UPC code, or email confirmation form your purchase of CA Internet Security Suite Flash Drive with the CA Internet Security Suite Flash Drive product and purchase date circled. Provide proof of previous purchase of a standalone retail version of a security product from McAfee, Symantec, Webroot, LavaSoft, Intermute or FBM. Include the original product CD diskette and title page of manual; or, for previously downloaded purchases, include the purchase confirmation email.
That's the interesting part - BOTH the CD and the title page.
It should be possible to get at least $20 back, though, and still have a 2G USB drive. Still worth attempting the extra $40, though.

I think it's going to be OK even with that verbage. Lately CA has been very generous with their rebates.

I hope so. I wouldn't mind even just getting it FAR, plus tax, as that's about what the last one cost through Buy.com (CA is processing through the $55 rebate no problem right now). But I SURE won't turn down an extra $20 or $60 either

I am sure an photocopy of CD and/or manual page would be fine. I recently did the crazy laptop deals and photocopies worked fine.

Yeah, CA loves to deny the rebates initially, but they always cave when you call them, even if they shouldn't. I've gotten several rebates from them that required the original UPC by just submitting the rebate without a UPC at all, then when it gets denied, call them and they ask you to read the UPC number to them over the phone and they validate instantly.
i did one before way back in Mar, and be ware that rebates take about 90 days. I am in for one. did one pick up with CashBack.

I guess I have to pass on this one because of the wording from the upgrade rebates (Valid with purchase of CA Internet Security Suite Flash Drive and Proof of Competitive Upgrade from Circuit City and CircuitCity.com). I have many products I could use as an upgrade but none was purchased at Circuit City.

Just like the people who think that it needs both an original CD and manual, you are very likely wrong. Think about it -- the upgrade proof is CD or manual cover. How would they possibly know where you bought it???

I'm assuming it's safe to PM because all rebates are from CA rebate center?

Any opinions on PM with Bestbuy is selling the same for $29.99.Interesting. Is that in the ad or only online? My CC is picky about matching if the UPC's don't match but I am not sure that CC does store specific UPC's on this item.
krankybighead said: Submission Address missing on 07-75380 or Am i missing something ?You don't want to use the form on the CC website anyway. You want to go to the CA Rebate Center web site (see OP's link), enter the offer number, and submit the rebate on-line, so you have a tracking number for each rebate submitted.
The form on the carebatecenter.com site gives CA Dept. 07-75380 PO Box 540028 EL PASO, TX 88554
I've done lots of similar CA rebates with no failures. This should fly for all 4, but I strongly encourage going thru the CA site directly and presubmit rather than messing with anything CC puts out. In all liklihood, some will get rejected for the lack of confirmation email, but in the past those have been easily fixed with a phone call.

I called my Circuit City about the pm and they said no problem! They just asked me to print the webpage and show it to them when I come in.

Rule #2!!!!
SEE RULE #1 !!!!!!!!!!! That applies to price mistakes. It does not apply to getting PM. You think all the employees are going to buy them so they can do PM's?
