I stopped into my store today, and noticed the same thing. While all the power tools were gone, they still had shovels, pole prunners, etc. The shovels and pole pruners went back to their normal price, even though the clearance tags were still on them. I did find the craftsman heavy duty hedge shears (hand tool) that was $10 last time I was there, but today they were $1. I bought the shears, and took a shovel up for the heck of it. It rang up full price, and the cashier would not give it to me for the marked clearance price. Since I already bought the shovel, I just said ok, and left with my $1 hedge shears. |
