Gillette Mach3 Turbo Cartridges with Aloe & Vitamin E, 8 cartridges - $9.99

Text

seems an OK deal

hellz yeah for non fake cartridges you get 8.21 shipped with subscribe n save. thats about a 1.03~ per unit.

I seriously doubt you are going to find Non-FAKE (try ordering some on eBay) for a buck a piece shipped without having to do any coupon/rebate work.

See fakeblades.com before buying any mach 3 turbo online. it used to be that people stole them and sold them on eBay but now the # of stealers has gone down since its easier to push counterfeit goods online.

heck im getting 2 a month, and i bought 11 (6 month) in case they jack the price.

** WARNING ** since this is a promo price they reserve the right and probably will raise the price and you may get jacked when your next shipment comes!! you can of course cancel or SKIP a shipment.

Great deal if you subscribe.
8.49/pack SHIPPED

How are you getting free shipping?

SUBSCRIBE N SAVE is always free shipping. just be careful they like to put in slow shipping even if you are prime. you can email them they'll usually bump the shipping up to prime level if you are a member. i've had this happen a few times on big boxes of diapers.

Does anyone remember the costco store price for these (where I ususally buy them) - how does this compare?

Don't know about costco, but I think in sams club 16 blades are $30+ (for the turbo). Obviously, the regular mach3 gets you 4 more blades for the same price.

IMHO, this is hot and in for 3. Thanks OP.

general rule of thumb: anything less than 2 bucks a blade mach 3 turbo = fake. ie eBay $1 each sales = fake.

so yeah these are real and at that price thats hot. with no tax/no ship.

go check out the eBay fakes the cost is about the same if not more after shipping.

SOLD OUT

Just a heads up. I checked the Amazon link right now and the product is "Currently unavailable. We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock." as of 6:20am PST.

I buy Mach 3 blades on eBay all the time. I've never received fakes...believe me, my face would let me know if I had.

bought pck of 16 catridges-mach 3 for around $30 from costco just 2 days ago...

Why settle for 3 blades when you can have 5...go for the Fusion baby !!

Wouldn't it be more likely that you've never received genuine blades and you just don't know the different?

I wouldn't be surprised if some of those on eb*y are leftovers from one of the drug store dot coms that went defunct (forgot the name, but they paid you to place an order). I still have a closetfull of mach3 blades myself.

Heres a secret tip I learned in a mens magazine to make the blades last longer:

After each use, place the blade in a cup filled with cheap rubbing alcohol, this prevents oxidation thus making it last longer..

That is a fatterwallet perspective than stocking up on a bunch of "cheap" razor blades and planning to go through 2/month. A stainless-steel, factory-edge blade should remain razor-sharp for a very long time if all it ever cuts through are human hairs. Rust or grime on the cutting surface is what causes the blade to not cut properly.

Dead

Reputable retail for me on this item.

yep, I bought a cheapo mini-spray bottel from WalMart and spray rubbing alcohol after each use. It seems to help from gunk (aka bacteria) building up as fast, and the blades last longer.

looks like it's dead already

Does stainless steel oxidize? Alcohol probably just cleans the gunk off, decreasing drag thus making the blade feel sharper. (Man I got too much time)

I still use the older Sensor Excel 3-blade style, and I'm happy to keep using it, but it seems it's getting harder to find the replacement blades (for example they don't have them at BJ's).

Is it really worth it to "upgrade" to the Mach3, or is this just a ploy to make me throw away the Sensor handles I have and spend more money?

steel does oxidize, stainless steel has additive to prevent oxidize, but can't totally stop. I think, alcohol helps to absorb water, which has oxigen inside, so can help extend life. But won't the alcohol distroy the lube strip?
