Wookieboy said:Hmmm if it's true I wonder if this would apply http://images.bestbuy.com/BestBuy_US/en_US/images/external/emailpdf/100107_oct_ese_coupons.pdf . It doesn't list PC's as an exclusion so it would be worth a shot I guess. Been looking for a basic laptop for my GF and I have a gig of ram hanging around that would replace that measly 512mb instantly. Good find if it's true. Printed it out -- it's not an exclusion list but an inclusion list -- so my guess is it does not work. M |

M As ubiquitous as PC's have become, one could make the argument that it qualifies as an appliance at this point |

Is it possible that BB will claim that "available at this price" means that it has to be in stock? Since this is likely to be a limited stock item, could they treat it like "no rainchecks" and deny any price match? Having been burned by employees who refused to honor the $33 Seagate deal, I don't feel like wasting any more time at this retailer. |

got to costa mesa, ca bb location this morning at 10am opening. they only had 3 units. snagged one up and hoping to pm sunday/monday. if anyone wants one.. costa mesa has 2 left in stock. just fyi hope this deal fly's.. there is no scan, no ad, no nothing. just speculation that its gonna sell for 299.99..
i figure you might as well just go for it anyways.. by the time someone actually posts proof of the scan, all these units are gonna be gone and oos if it doesnt its gonna be funny watching the return section of bestbuy filled with these laptops. |
