Good plan. We need to start posting everything that's $10 and under at Buy.com, then toss on "FAGCO" on it... because FW'ers aren't smart enough to know that there's a limited offer for $10 off at Buy.com. Give the members of this board just a tad more intelligence... find a REAL deal, then let them apply the $10 GCO offer IF IT APPLIES TO THEM to make the deal even sweeter. Most FW'ers know that GCO is not as limited as YOU think it is.

Can you get the $10 rebate for declining the magazine subscription if the price after google checkout comes out to $0? |

kumman said:Stop posting deals with GCO. It was introduced loooooooooooooong time ago and there are tons of items that are Free after GCO. We cannot start new thread for each. Rather put the original price in the title Couldn't agree more. Isn't everything a good deal when you can use your one time GCO? |

TomT said:Couldn't agree more. Isn't everything a good deal when you can use your one time GCO? Not really. Some GCO deals are better than others. The best possible deal on a "$10 off" GCO offer is something like the one posted here, which becomes free after GCO. Add free shipping to make it even better. Whether or not you like it, the GCO offer is significantly better on an item that's priced at exactly $10.00 than on any other item. GCO on a price different from $10.00 (either lower, in which case GCO doesn't apply, or higher, in which case the item isn't free) is sub-optimal. What part of that is difficult to understand? |

I thought I was up to date on the GCO situation, but maybe not. Didn't Google eliminate the loophole of using the same shipping address or CC# with different e-mail addresses? In my experience, sometimes they cancel, sometimes they don't.
I was pretty much shut down some months ago, but recently it has worked most of the time.

Are you guys using GCO multiple times? I registered new google account using newly generated Citi card number (but same name and address), but google does not give me $10 reduction. Previously I always have no problem in using GCO with newly generated card number, but recently this does not work. Do you think google already blocked my name and address? |
