I also got the meaasge. It is basically telling you that your google discount will NOT show up on your Buy.com order status on their website. It will only show up on your google receipt.It also says their customer service agents are available 24/7 which is a joke.

Not to worry though. You won't be charged $10.

I made 6 email accounts and tried getting 6 of these. I used the same CC and address each time. 3 of my orders were shipped, and three were canceled. The next day I tried 6 more with the same circumstance. All of them were canceled.

Just wanted to share my story. Don't be afraid to try multiple orders. I got half of mine (the first time through). Hope this helps some people.

Ordered on Friday and got notice this morning that the flash drive is on back order -- yet item page is still showing as In Stock and orders are still being taken, and probably thousands of orders were taken over the weekend as this deal built up steam for a freebie drive.

Seems that Buy is just pocketing Google's money, setting a $10 price point that would ensure this would happen, faking stock status, driving up sales, and making the margin in volume. Now Buy can put through the big order from Kingston getting a volume discount, and ship out over time, knowing few would cancel on a free order.

Buy's order status does not have a back ordered indication, and orders will show Sent to Warehouse until shipped. Don't expect your orders soon...

I signed up for a new Google account. How come the $10 off doesn't show up when I tried to checkout?
