Is the 70% off only good for the $25 gift cards or can I use it for $100? Will the discount code: TREATS, discount 70% my total order? THANKS! |

It doesn't matter what size certificate you buy. Just make sure you understand the terms of the $100 certificate. Many that I've seen require a $200 purchase to use. And these are NOT gift cards. If you think of them like that you will be VERY disappointed. |

I just used a certificate from restaurant.com for the first time. It was a restaurant that we probably never would have gone to if it wasn't for the site. The food was great and I'm sure we'll go back often. I think this is a great deal! |

Bought a $100 gift certificate off a $200 meal (only requirement) for M&S Grill (a McCormick & Schmick's restaurant) for $12. Worked like a charm. Great deal! Thanks! |

So they can if they want to, know you've dined there for the month and refuse a subsequent certificate. Not saying they would, but it is tracked.Interesting.. I have gotten some of those but I thought they were related to my marking the certificate as used. And I did not get one for a certificate that I used recently, and I know the restaurant called to check validity on that one.So I used a certificate yesteday and sure enough, I did get an email survey this morning. In that case, you would think they could update the "used" flag on their website to indicate that it's used. I just noticed their website says "For privacy reasons, restaurant.com will not mark or indicate certificate usage, but has offered this system as simple way to keep track of your purchases.". I don't know what pricacy reason there can be if they are going to email you after they discover that you've used it. |

It's simply your own area to track your useage of the certificates so you know which are unused and which have been redeemed. |

When I first clicked the link, all of the restaurants in my area were OOS, so I bought the generic restaurant.com gc to use later. Right after my order went though, I decided to check out some menus, so I went back to the site and magically, everything was available. Maybe they coincidentally restocked while I was ordering or if they're limiting discounted stuff from certain links? |

Another buyer beware warning. Make sure the restuarant is actually open for business. They have actually gone ahead and put restuarants who aren't even scheduled to open for several months on their site and sold coupons. There's nothing like buying certs for a restuarant in another city only to get there and find out they are still under construction!!! Eventually got my money back but a) it took more of an effort than it should and b) they still left the restuarant on the site. In an effort to save others the same inconvenience, I kept calling/emailing and it was only through major persistence that they finally did something about it. I don't see how that says anything other than they don't particularly care about integrity, professionalism or customer service. |
