MysticMan1 said:This mouse seem to have problems with the rechargeable battery. From Amazon.com: Connection and Power Connecting the MX Revolution couldn't be easier. The included wireless USB dongle was immediately recognized by Windows and Mac machines, and after switching on the power switch on the base of the mouse, we were mousing almost instantaneously. Wireless mice are often a pain when it comes to battery life and replacement. The Revolution MX solves one of these problems by integrating a rechargeable battery. The included charging stand is simple and stylish, although it requires wall power--no USB charging. You'll be using the stand a lot, as we couldn't squeeze much more than a day's work out of the mouse before the low battery indicator appeared. The mouse does not appear to have a sleep mode when it's not active (or when folks inevitably forget to turn it off), a notable omission from a device that is otherwise a home run--as long as you're a right hander. Reminds me of those old Intel sets that had the same problem -- this is a notable omission! |

Sheesh, got a Wii, the MS Mac Office deal, and now this mouse all from Amazon. Those three were hotter than most any of the non TV BM deals. |

I get about 2-3 days on a charge, not the best I guess.
Doesn't it come with rechargeable battery and base to charge it? Is it hard to put it in base when your not using it? It does come with a base and it's easy to put on the base to charge it. |

Wow, it sells fast. After I placed my order, it said in the original product page that there is only 1 left in stock. So, who will get the last one for this deal? |

Reminds me of those old Intel sets that had the same problem -- this is a notable omission! I've been using this mouse for most of the year. Battery life with regular office work is 1-2 weeks. If I play games requiring constant mousing all day I can drain it in about 1-2 days, but I've only managed that twice. If you get one where the battery only lasts one day of office use, I'd return it as defective. IMHO this is the best mouse I've ever used. The wheel sounds like a gimmick when you read about it, but once you start using it you'll wonder how you ever got along without it. It's great for effortlessly scrolling through pages of code. |
