I think you're missing the point of FW COMMUNITY. I posted that with the intention of helping. If you felt it could be shorter, by all means, shorten it! If you think though that because it didn't apply to you, it wouldn't apply to anybody else...that's just a bit ignorant, don't you think? And i thought i did well with the Dell deal (i managed to get in on that one). I'd have picked up a second for the hell of it for $7 but ah well.

Just FYI, the repost LINK I added, was there to let people know there is, and where, a more comprehensive post on the same topic, posted at an ealier time. We had about a dozen posts by lazy people spring up all about items from Amazon's BF list when we only needed one. Mods don't like people spamming 'REPOST', like idiots. That's not the same as not wanting reposts to be pointed out at least once.

Helping the COMMUNITY!! (hehe) is fine, when you do it in the right place and with a little thought. Would have made sense to post in the Dell deal and then a couple line notice here in the summary with a link, instead of that full page referendum that was there. Just like all those other repeat posters were trying to help, but actually just ended up getting in the way for most people.

And finally yes, I'd wager big money that of all the people that read this thread, less than %1 of them not only got to buy the mouse from Amazon in time but are also got in on Dell deal. It's just about the numbers of people that read FW in addition to limited availability of the deals. I certainly never claimed only 1% of FW reader of the Dell deal got in on it, actually probably more like 5-10% . Always a lot more people reading than actually get in on deals.

LOL 6.99 is nothing. I got the Logitech Webcam deal that cost me $20.00 and it comes with a $50 Mail in Rebate. So I actually win $30.00 Now thats amazing.

Yeah I got that one too. Logitech Quickcam Communicate Deluxe. I'm worried about that one too. I can live with paying $36 for a mouse, but $18.99 for a webcam that I'll probably never use.... wasted 20 bucks
