Someone else has started a thread covering all merchants who are participating in the Paypal promotion. Purchases from any of these retailers count toward the $50 per Paypal account limit, so you cannot buy at another store if you've exhausted your $50 limit. Some retailers are honoring the promotion until December 10th, while Newegg is only offering it through 11/28.

Basically, this is an extension of the Toys R Us deal, it's just that many more merchants have been added Monday after Midnight. This will make Cyber Monday much more interesting!

Sorry I could not moderate this thread while the deal was developing today. Apparently it is dead and only orders placed earlier today will be honored. Congrats to those that got in on time, sorry to those who didn't.

Update: Just got off the phone with Paypal (approx. 10 pm Eastern) only to find the CSR was clueless about the Newegg promotion. He put me on hold for a few minutes to speak to his supervisor. It seems they are still sorting out the mess this promotion has created. Paypal couldn't give me a definite answer on how I can determine whether or not my order qualifies for the promotion (I placed my order very early, but my Paypal transaction makes no mention of the 20% off). We'll see how it plays out. Paypal has deep pockets and in my opinion should be honoring all orders placed today, period. For now, it seems those who placed their order with Newegg before 12:30 pm. Pacific time will have the promotion honored.

i think it's only valid for items on the page, it wouldnt make sense to give 20% off EVERYTHING, that is just too good to be true!

Update: To answer my own question> Yes you can use a PayPal Credit Card for this AWESOME Deal. You will see the 20% promotion while you are going to pay.

Yeah, I was going back and forth regarding the Cosmos, but when I saw the 20% rebate I had to get it. $179-$35(20%)-$90(MIR)=$54. And thats not including the fast cash.

I just bought a Apple iPod Touch using PayPal and saw the 20% Promo while paying. So I highly believe it is for all products on Newegg.com

This is awesome. I literally had $350 of stuff in my Newegg cart waiting to check out. Ran it thru paypal, and the paypal confirmation screen listed the %20 off promo. This looks good. Green for you OP!

Or am I just reading it wrong? The "not made through you PayPal account" part confuses me...

I know exactly what this thing means. I can pay with my PayPal Credit as just a normal Credit Card without having to select PayPal as payment. If I do this I wont receive the 20% Promo.
But by entering Paypal as payment and than while in PayPal I select my PayPal credit Card as payment, it is now possible to receive the 20% Promo. Which I just did

There's a little box mentioning the offer on the checkout page for PayPal when it asks you to confirm your details.

There is no promo code. You should see the 20% promo while you logged in PayPal and if im not mistaken you will see the 20% promo at the last page, right before you hit submit.
