OP, please change the title back to your original topic. Some of us will not be able to find this deal because you changed the title. Your new title (Run for the hills!) is funny but most are still following this deal to see what, if any, action needs to be followed. Thanks.
Company Review of this (good info)
WayPoint's parent company is closing its doors; and their tech support forums may not last long, so I'd suggest we FW folks start compiling (and saving) links/info on how to use the product as either 1) Windows2003 PDA or 2) GPS-PDA

GPS Tip: Need a replacement battery for the Mobile Crossing GPS?
All Lithium-ion batteries tend to wear out in a year or two. This is usually indicated by the fact that the device does not run as long on a battery as it once did. This graceful failure eventually becomes unacceptable for the user. At this point it is time to replace the battery. If you are nearing this point you may want to look at USGlobalSat.com for a replacement. The Mobile Crossing GPS is identified as the BT-308 on the site.
The BT-308 mentioned above is the GPS receiver, not the PDA.
