Thanks! Anyone know if there is an expiration on the Subway cards?

Edit: It says on the site: No card dormancy fees and no expiration, ever.

I ordered one for $25. $25 + .99 shipping + .50 processing fee = $26.49

I'll probably try this deal by reloading an existing card.

Anybody try paying with one of those AMEX prepaid gift cards?

Did anybody notice the limit of 3 AMEX branded prepaid cards? Seems like it would be better to do 3x$26 transactions instead of a single $75 transaction.

Is there a mail in certificate or is this automatic? Where do they mention the $1.49 shipping fee? Thanks.

I haven't been to Subway in about 3 yrs but my FW spirit is really pushing me to get on this deal

I haven't been to a movie theater in about that same time. Would a $10 "movie card" even cover popcorn and soda these days?

barely. I still sneak my own water in rather than paying $4.50 for the teeny bottles they sell.

good deal op. Magically, I have an amazing Subway down the road from work that I go to once a week

does the GC reduce if not used over a certain period of time, like a non use processing fee?
edit
i see the 6 months on the movie card, but what about the subway card

If I get $80 Subway gift card, I'll get a free $20 movie card....good deal for a FW style date

Wouldn't it be better to get 3 $25 cards and get 3 $10 movie cards?

Order 1 card, pay 1.49 processing and ship fee. Once you get it then do two adds of $25 to that card to get the
additional 2 $10 movie cards, should only be a .50 processing fee, no shipping.

Thanks OP!

Strange, but after the initial page, there's no mention of the movie card... Just a confirmation of order.

I have a difficult time putting "Amazing" and "Subway" together in the same sentence.

...then I saw "Magically".

great xmas gift

Yes... if you want to eat and drink them in the lobby.

thanks op...xmas gifts, bonus movie cards for me.

Thanks OP. Got a couple of cards.

I'm not sure the SubWays I go to take AMEX! Strange

I just went to a Subway today. They took AMEX. I think they franchise, so YMMV

I actually got one during testing period. I received movie card. Only thing is that i can't find where I put the movie card.

you do not need to use the AMEX card at a subway

chances are that this will simply be a prepaid AMEX cg that says movie sonething but you should be able to swipe it anywhere that accepts AMEX

agreed buy 1 for 25 then reload twice to get the 2 other 10 gc

brotherhpj said: I'm not sure the SubWays I go to take AMEX! Strange

I don't think it matters if your Subway takes AMEX. It's a Subway gift card, not an AMEX one.

It's the same either way, as shipping is .99 whether you buy 1 card or 3.

I'd like to know if that works also. On the other hand, all my AMEX gift cards are $25 face value, and since buying a $25 Subway card actually costs $26.49, I think I'm stuck. I doubt their system will let you enter two separate card numbers for payment.

why not just start with a cheap gift card purchased @ face value (at a subway store, or WalMart that sells subway cards), reload it 3x using the link provided for $75 total you'd get 3 $10 movie cards.. and not pay the processing/shipping.

edit: you don't even have to purchase the starter card, most subways give out a free subway points card which can be reloaded using OP's link

anybody knows which theater accepts these AMEX movie card?

thanks

can someone confirm that reloads work? I already have a subway GC

I couldn't make the reload work. I tried to register a card and it comes back with a message to activate it. Obviously, no link to activate my card. I did not find a method to reload either.

That's why I ask for a (free) cup of ice And half-way through the movie some of it has melted and I get to drink it... free cold water!

Unless I missed something in the fine print, I would think they would make you buy them in 3 different transaction. It might cost a dollar or so extra to do it this way, but you're out $10 if they only give you a $20 card and not 3 $10 cards as you expect.

Do they charge any fees to reload?

And has anyone confirmed for sure that they've gotten the $10 bonus movie card for a $25 reload?

Looks like at lunch time I'll be asking my co-workers "does anyone want anything from Subway?".

Did anyone else get charged for this program by a company in Canada? I did. Now, not only am I out the processing fee, but a foreign exchange fee.

I got charged as well. Hey OP it is a Canadian site!!

What do we do now? The dfference on my AXP card is .07. How much is yours?

I sent them an email to cancel my transaction but I'm probably out of luck.

Depends on whether you eat at Subway a lot because you can only get 3 cards. You also pay the same fee for the $10 card as the $20 card.

I tried to use em this weekend and they didnt work. Maybe the place you went to use em doesnt accept AMEX.

After i got home from the movie I checked the card online and it said it was worth $10 and active.
