I just bought this for my bro for Christmas. I've been price shopping it, this is the best I've seen for it at bestbuy.com: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8474279&type=product&id=1186004321449
The price dropped by $100 when I added to the cart. It's on sale for $299. Not sure how long this price will last.

The last time I tried to use a coupon on a sale item, a dumb cashier called smart cashier to help her - and the smart cashier figured out why POS register won't apply the discount - the item is not at its regular price, so the discount was rejected. You need someone in between - smart enough to know how to override the system, but not so smart as to figure out why system needs to be overridden.
PC Nation is fine. I have made several purchases from them and they ship free and you get it in two to three days and they have the lastest stuff. They are a Garmin authorized dealer. I feel that they can be trusted, and this is about the best price for this GPS. Hope this helps.

Arwood said:Apparently no text to voice! Only voice prompts, which kills the 260 for me! I have the box in hand delivered today from Staples for $249 (BF weekend sale). I says "turn-by-turn voice prompts with spoken street names" -- that sounds like TTS to me This unit had the highest reviews at www.gpsmagazine.com for a unit without extra non-GPS functions (more expensive Nuvi units have MPS, bluetooth, etc). If you just want a GPS, this is the one to get. The widescreen is probably nice, but this fits easily into a shirt pocket...
Both the 260 and 650 have text to speech. The 650 is wide screen and has a few more features and is probably worth the $45 more if you are a Costco member. Check the Garmin web site and you can compare the difference. www.garmin.com
