Thats should be just a "test" charge or whatever they call it to make sure the card is valid and such. should be returned to that CC.

I had that happen when I ordered on BF. I believe they pre-auth for $1.00 before actually applying the charge. In my case, only the $1.00 showed up the first few days as pending, but when the $40 charge was posted, the $1 was gone.
