dammit...none in stock for store pickup near me, and I can't use the coupon online.....oh well, would have made a nice xmas gift with the 10 or 12% off.

Thanks OP

I got one for $125ish plus tax
I used a coupon from the rewards mail and at first the coupon rang up $0.00. Cashier said that GPS hardware was for all the accessories and not for the GPS units. I knew that wasn't right so I politely asked for a manager. The manager said it was indeed for the GPS units. Then they noticed the coupon expired yesterday. OOPS! I then said nevermind but the manager interrupted and told cashier to override and give me the ten percent off. Thank you Best Buy for being so nice about it.

Also picked up a few of those nice Psyclone Surge protectors for $8.99 (regular $99....yeah.. right!) Not worth $99 but definitely worth $40 bucks or so.

I actually bought a 4GB sdhc and it's on it's way... at first I thought it was definitely compatible, but now I'm unsure and unable to find anybody to say the TomTom One LE is compatible with 4GB sdhc card...

anyhoo latest navcore 7 does not like SDHC specifically 17.99 sandisk variety.

makes you wonder how they get the microdrives to work? partitions? dunno.

some old non-sdhc 4GB have been known to work. but those are probably long gone by now.

you only need 2gb.

My BB got some in and I brought the 10% coupon I got in the USPS change of address pack - denied - GPS isn't in one of the categories...the biatch read it for a good 5 minutes. Should I try taking the receipt and 12% "birthday" coupon in and get a price adjustment?

I had wanted the 4GB so that I could load mp3s on it and such for some of the hacks out there.

No such critter as a 4GB non-SDHC SD card. Anything above 2GB will be SDHC.

Anything higher than 2GB is not part of the official SD standard. While 4GB SD cards exist, many devices don't work properly with them. If you put 2GB of filler data on them, then the cards seem to work fine, which shows that they were not intended to support more than 2GB.

That wasn't the argument.

Just picked up a tomtom LE using the 12% coupon. Coupon wouldn't ring at the register so the cashier had to do a manual override. Picked up the unit at the bestbuy in santana row a couple of hours ago. If anyone is curious, they probably have like 10 TomTom LE units left (as of 4pm today 12/14/07)

Sorry all I don't have a nice step by step to do the hack. Just google those phrases I posted above and that is exactly what I used. Do a full back up of the data on the TT One LE and then follow the directions in those provided links. It took a bit of trial and error on my part but I got it working just fine. Sorry I am no more help than that but I honestly don't have an easier way to tell you how to do this. Make sure you have a 2 gig SD card since there isn't enough room to add the TTS voices that the hack requires.
