VJ123 said:5 of 15 is a great coupon. Has anyone tried it?Yes, it works. It wouldn't scan for me, though. I asked my cashier to enter the first 5 digits of the coupon and it came off. On SD, it's scanning for some but not others. Depends on the quality of your printer.

Print it on a low ink setting. That goes for the $5 off Energizer coupon as well. That coupon scanned fine.

They let you use 3 of the battery coupons at one time?

clearanceman said:Just a heads up, energizer batteries are the only ones I have had leak when left in a device without use for several months. So far I have lost three of my kids toys (and I barely use alkalines, mostly I use recharagables), and 2 flashlights. Be aware, I try to avoid Energizer batteries whenever possible, these are batteries my wife bought, I use recharagable, store brand (which may be energizer, I don't know) or duracell. Energizer will pay for your destroyed items if you send them back but it has happened too often based on the relatively small number of their batteries I have used. It has only happened when there is an item with those batteries in it and the item sat for a few months of non use with the energizer batteries in it.

Maybe your batch was faulty. Energizer did invent Alkalines afterall.

I know this is off topic, but anyone in real need of alkaline batteries, Pep Boys has 24 packs of an off-brand called Proline and the are giving you 6 packs FAR. That's 144 free batteries (actual price is $4.99 ea). I bought 12 packs (I use two addresses). I know there is some speculation that Pep Boys rebates are risky but I personally have done a half dozen or so without any problems.

The coupon says energizer max batteries, whereas the ones on sale are regular alkaline batteries

Asked the cashier to ring up 3 transactions, she did not have any problems doing so. The ECB popped up on the last one.

You're lucky. Normally I wouldn't suggest this. Wait a few hours between transactions for the system to update or you might not get credit for the last order(s) for the ECB.

While you are at CVS be sure to get your free tissues. They're on sale for .99 cents but the coupon will take off $1.15 http://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/cvs/Gateway/promotion?pid=6177&step_nbr=160

some of the batteries have a $1.00 off manufacture coupon that stacks with the $5 one.

I bought a square box of CVS brand tissues 80count for 99c as a filler along with 8AA Duracells and the total came to 29c.

Here's what my receipt looked like:

Tissues: 99c
Batteries: $5.29
=====
Coupon $1.00-
CVS Coupon $5.00-

Subtotal: $0.28

i needed tissues but i think you can get creative with what you add as a filler.

The CVS 120 ct. tissues are FREE. Look for the printable coupon link above your post. The coupon takes off $1.15 even though they are on sale for .99. Find another filler!
