So far I have lost three of my kids toys (and I barely use alkalines, mostly I use recharagables), and 2 flashlights. Be aware, I try to avoid Energizer batteries whenever possible, these are batteries my wife bought, I use recharagable, store brand (which may be energizer, I don't know) or duracell. Energizer will pay for your destroyed items if you send them back but it has happened too often based on the relatively small number of their batteries I have used. It has only happened when there is an item with those batteries in it and the item sat for a few months of non use with the energizer batteries in it.
Maybe your batch was faulty. Energizer did invent Alkalines afterall. Faulty over a period of 5 years? |

I needed an excuse to go by CVS and get another free box of tissues. With the $1 off coupon on the battery package and the extra $0.20 generated by the tissues, I added a couple of candy bars as filler and paid less than a quarter. |

Got a pack of batteries (I'll get the other 2 later), 4x 12 packs of cokes, and 2 bags of hersheys candy for $11.xx. Got $5 ECB(for the cokes and candy) out of it. I used the $5 and $1 battery coupons, and a $5 off $15 coupon. |

Asked the cashier to ring up 3 transactions, she did not have any problems doing so. The ECB popped up on the last one.You're lucky. Normally I wouldn't suggest this. Wait a few hours between transactions for the system to update or you might not get credit for the last order(s) for the ECB.
While you are at CVS be sure to get your free tissues. They're on sale for .99 cents but the coupon will take off $1.15 http://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/cvs/Gateway/promotion?pid=6177&step_nbr=160 I can not bring up the tissue coupon. Any other way besides the link? thanks |

powerhungry said:some of the batteries have a $1.00 off manufacture coupon that stacks with the $5 one.
I bought a square box of CVS brand tissues 80count for 99c as a filler along with 8AA Duracells and the total came to 29c.
Here's what my receipt looked like:
Tissues: 99c Batteries: $5.29 ===== Coupon $1.00- CVS Coupon $5.00-
Subtotal: $0.28
i needed tissues but i think you can get creative with what you add as a filler. Sorry, I'm a bit confused. Why do you need .99 filler for this deal? What am I missing? |

The $1 coupon he found on the battery package. Ok, now I see it (even though I read it 4x previously; lazy Sunday brain). Thanks. |

The 2/10 coupon, like most CVS coupons, can be used over and over and over and ........ |

If you are like me and are only going to drag your 3 kids into the store for one transaction, Go here to get $2 off of 2 packs of batteries after registering. Use that with the CVS $$ off coupons and the CVS Energizer coupons and you still come out of the deal in good shape. http://energizer.com/powersource/default.aspx?c=1&s=cemail001 |

I love this deal! Thanks OP! Between Rite Aid deal and CVS deals, I have not had as much fun since sending in for a free camera from collecting Bazooka gum wrappers. Many of the CVSs have 1 dollar off any MAX pack. THe coupon is a little yellow sticker on the battery pack itself. Making each pack $4.99 instead of $5.99. Make certain you have as many items as coupons and that is including CVS buck coupons. I used the Glucera for diabetics cereal as original filler. And CVS cough drops next time so I could use more coupons. After you buy 3 packs: Free Tote Free Charm Bracelet |

I would not worry about it ALL the major Battery Manufacturer's GUARANTEE 100% that their products will NEVER leak if they do, just send the device to them and they(at least they did for me) send you a check for the value of the product.This BTW was a remote that I had not used for a couple of years(it got lost,imagine that) and I got like $25 back,not sure if you had a GPS or other expensive like a digital camera if they wouldnt try to gip you |
