Some CVS take more than one. YMMV on this. Chat a little with the cashier and it should fly.

No way this will work 3 times in one transaction !

Don't know if this flies...3 copies of the $5 coupon? Coupon terms definitely state "1 per customer". I'm guessing that you'll hear the dreaded "beep" of the register when trying to use it multiple times.

The coupon says one per customer, did they let you use 3?

C'mon. The cashier will slap you silly if you ask her to do that.

Yes in the CVS at the Corner of John R and Auburn in Rochestor Hills, MI.

Bar code doesn't print when printing out coupon

It is okay deal even if you use one coupon at $5. Since you get $5 ECB back, Throw in some more coupons and you should 3 sets for $5. So OKAY deal at the time of the holidays for batteries.

If they are only 5.29 then 5 bucks off is still a great deal for 1 pack. Green!

I guess just buying 1 pack and repeating is still a good deal at $.29 a pack

You do not have to buy $15 worth of batteries in the same transaction to get the $5 ECB. Do three transactions, and the ECB should print on the third one, provided they do not take the coupon into consideration. I have not shopped at CVS long enough to know if coupons affect ECB's or not, but I did the P&G deal last week (no coupons) in two transactions and the ECB printed on the second receipt.

This isn't gonna fly however i still think it's a decent deal.

edit: I stand corrected. I agree with previous poster that this will work in three seperate transactions

Yes, you can do it in 3 separate transactions, and the ECB will show up on the 3rd receipt. Allow at least 2 hours between each transction to make sure the system has updated your ECB account.

on the batteries there's also a coupon for $1 off

I used it yesterday actually used 3 for 3 packs (CVS coupon not manufacter)

I didn't know about this %5 off so I used a $2 off $10 my total was $11 - $5 (ecb)

There ie also $1 off manufacter coupon from sunday newspaper(don't remember which week).

Online it says one per card number, did anyone get the deal to work?

excellent! I've been using up a lot of my batteries from the kamrt deal. time to restock!

Can we stack this, $.29 purchase as part of the $10 on a $2 off $10 coupon?

In other words... Are the coupons stackable?

Yes, they are.

Do you must have your ExtraCare Card to use the coupon? I have not received the card in the mail yet.

Heh,heh, I do love Fat Wallet

Don't see these batteries on sale in the SoCal circular.

They're in the November 18th SmartSource or today's (Dec 9th) Smartsource inserts.

Great Post OP - Will definitely try even three times if I gotta!!!

worth a shot, I have a stack off $1.00 off Energizer max coupons from K-mart I picked up Fri. wonder if I can use manufacturer & CVS combined? that would be $4.29 per pack with $5 back.

I thought someone had mentioned CVS Corp was stopping the stacking, That it had advised it's store managers to stop.

they are going to stop stacking extra bucks is what i thought. the day they stop stacking $ off coups with these I will vote republican

Hero76 said: they are going to stop stacking extra bucks is what i thought. the day they stop stacking $ off coups with these I will vote republican As in you can't use more than one ECB coupon per transaction? The day that happens is the last day I shop there.

5 of 15 is a great coupon. Has anyone tried it?

Btw, I got a bunch of energizers about a year ago when CVS had a deal. Some of them were the very good Japanese cells. Some of them were from china and singapore. Opt for the japanese if you can, they perform better.

To make the deal a little better:
2 candy bars for $1 + $5.29 batteries - $1 coupon - $5 CVS couopon = $.29
Do the deal 3 times, you end up getting 6 candy bars and a lot of batteries for $0.87+tax, plus $5ECB back.

PS, the $1 coupon is a peelie attached on each battery pack.

There is a $1 off Energizer batteries in todays coupons in LA TIMES.

Just a heads up, energizer batteries are the only ones I have had leak when left in a device without use for several months. So far I have lost three of my kids toys (and I barely use alkalines, mostly I use recharagables), and 2 flashlights. Be aware, I try to avoid Energizer batteries whenever possible, these are batteries my wife bought, I use recharagable, store brand (which may be energizer, I don't know) or duracell. Energizer will pay for your destroyed items if you send them back but it has happened too often based on the relatively small number of their batteries I have used. It has only happened when there is an item with those batteries in it and the item sat for a few months of non use with the energizer batteries in it.

Fyi, for those of you who sent away for the free Energizer tote bag offer, mine arrived at the house a couple of days ago.
