Is it permitted to post the Coupon # in this thread to verify that the one I'm trying to use is the same as the one those successfully used, or is that a no-no?

It's an INSTORE ONLY coupon.

Got it. To those that succeeded in store, is it coupon code 46613?

The coupon is mentioned in this thread. It's for a grand opening in GA.

Uh huh. Like I said…

.............I didn't think so...............

I've never seen a Staplez $30 off $75 that wasn't a grand opening coupon. If I'm mistaken, then I retract my earlier post. If it is a different coupon, then let's see it. If it is legit, why are the mods banning it?

Just a quick search showed that you are right on where the coupon came from.

This coupon came from sd/grand opening. Should not matter. YMMV as alwaYs.

Are you still wondering why people are giving you and your charming personality red?

OK, the coupon story is that it IS a grand opening coupon. And it is in-store only, meant to be used just in that store. But, just because it is meant to be used there doesn't mean it won't work elsewhere. Just the issue of getting something scannable to Staples.

You don't want to make it in any way unusual and call attention to the fact that this is a coupon that stores don't normally see. So, you need the digit code (which is known), a bar code corresponding to digit code, the standard looking coupon appearance, and a clerk who will scan it and not think anything is wrong.

Hey Jimmy - as some one already said, you donot have to get upset with people. No one accused you of creating the coupon. I saw some managers barking as soon as they see 5digit code on the coupon, and gave instructions to cashiers not to accept 5 digit coupon. That's why it is YMMV. Some times, the "created" coupon may not scan, as some newbies might have created it. Having said that, lot of people used it without any issues. Some people do not like to use it, as offcially, Staples did not issue taking to a little high moral grounds.

So, quit getting angry so fast.

The OTHER thread the coupon WAS good till the 12th.

The codes are the same. Same coupon.

Who said this: "...who prostitute themselves for a few of money which they can not enjoy..." $30 is quite a few indeed

Jimmy, if you don't care about red, then what are you so riled about? What are you hoping for in this thread? Everyone else posting in this thread seems calm. You are the only one ranting making things personal.

A forum should be a place to discuss things like adults. That means good and bad, kudos and criticisms. There is no reason to act upset and make hasty comments and silly insults. As soon as you start shouting and name-calling, you lose credibility. How old are you anyway?

Anyway, the YMMV aspect of a grand opening coupon has been stated pretty well. Consider accordingly.

Let us leave the coupon issue and move on. Friend Jimmy's fuse is getting lit fast and soon. Let us discuss on the deal.

If some one wants it, they also have code for 10 off 25.... 14496.

Look who's talking. You ask a million dumb questions in the computer forum and people still help you, but you get crazy and jump down everyone's throat here.

You're welcome.
