Here's to a drama free, bada-bing-bada-boom, walk in-walk out deal! Coupon was accepted with absolutely no fuss. Coupon did show up as expired, but the manager overrode it. Cheers, Joe. |

I am happy that this was drama free for you. To have to call a manager over to override a fraudulent expired coupon may not be considered drama free to others. But good for you............... |

Got shot down trying to use coupon just about half an hour ago. They actually had a small sign right by the register (to alert cashier's I guess) that this coupon "does not exist". |

It also scanned as expired for me, but the manager did an override without so much as looking at me, much less questioning me on the coupon. I actually ended up using it with TaxCut Premium (Fed and State) and Money Plus Deluxe, which came to $52.73 AC. It also printed out a $40 rebate on the Money software purchased in combo with TaxCut, and a $10 Staples gift card rebate for the TaxCut. |

Used the coupon and costco $15 coupon for Quicken. For some reason cashier or the manager could not do override for the TT $15off coupon so I told them to ignore that coupon. They were not willing to give up and were bent upon putting it and said they will void all of the transaction and try it again. I told them not to worry and got it with without the TT coupon. BTW, manager had to override the 30off75 coupon. Thanks OP. |

Woohoo! I went in first thing this morning for this deal. Coupon rang up as expired, but cashier got the manager to override. Didn't seem to pay too much attention to it, but maybe I just got lucky with the manager. Thanks OP!!!! EZ rebates submitted, now the waiting game. This was at Staples in west LA, at the corner of westwood and santa monica. |

Igbo said:Great deal. Better than the one I just picked up from Amazon.com. Luckly I'm getting a little of my money back because I have a copy of Quicken basic as a result of last year's deal. I tried to sell it and nobody wanted it not even for $5. Now I can get $30 for it. If you have a copy of Quicken Basic you can apply for this rebate:
$30 Upgrade Rebate; From Quicken Basic To Quiken Deluxe
Good luck. I threw away that CD while cleaning up my room during the holidays. Can someone please host a photocopy of the Quicken Basic CDROM please. |

My results - bought Qiucken Deluxe and TT Deluxe. Got a manager to override so the coupon worked, total $75.58 after tax. Will use this $30 SER and this $30 upgrade from Quicken basic to deluxe rebate. While I was there I signed up for the rewards card, which cashier said pays back 20% for January purchases (and all of this purchase applied). Can anyone verify this? If so, I got the whole schmear for $.44 AR and CashBack. Thank you again FW! |

Here is a question for the veterans... I purchased TurboTax Basic (SKU 713572) and Quicken Starter Edition (SKU 70791) in Dec. and did the SER 07-72921 with them (along with the 35 others in the "crazy way redux" deal). Today I bought TurboTax Deluxe (SKU 713574) and Quicken Deluxe (SKU 707792). The "LIMITS PER CUSTOMER/ADDRESS" on the rebate slip on the box reads "1 Rebate for Quicken Starter OR Deluxe, Premier, OR Home & Business 2008." I read the "OR" to mean I can do the same rebate, now that I have bought two DIFFERENT titles that fit the deal. Whaddya think? |

I got this deal and also found the "trial" TurboTax CD that Intuit mailed to me a while back that came inside a DVD case. Inside that case is a $10 mail-in rebate if you buy TurboTax at a retail store. It looks like it's FAR if you have one of these forms or it can be found elsewhere on the web. |
