Thanks OP. Tons of FAR stuff in this weeks ad will easily make the $20 minimum. Take off the $5 and and get the extra 10% rebate rewards and this is super hot.

I am not sure if this can be combined with FAR stuff!

Why would you think that? Making a purchase, using coupons or not, and submitting a rebate are two separate actions. Use of this coupon has no bearing whatsoever on any rebates.

I've done it several times. It also works with Cash Register Rewards - which this ad also features on a few items instead of the regular mail in rebate.

By the way - for the rebate weary. Walgreens has the best no hassle rebate program (excluding Staples EZRebate - and sometimes I wonder if Walgreens is still better). One time we mailed late (missed the mail pick up on Saturday so it went out Monday). My wife called Saturday and explained and the CSR said no problem. Low and behold, we got the rebate without a problem. No follow up phone calls necessary.

I never bought stamps from Walgreen, is it available at the counter? What are Forever stamps?

has anyone purchased Forever stamps using this deal?

FYI: Forever stamps are the stamps that you can purchase the stamps now and are good until USPS goes out of business. When USPS increases postage rate in the future, this stamp suppose to increase to that value so you don't have to buy 1c or 2c stamps as add ons

I never brought stamps from anywhere but the post office. But this deal was too good to pass up. Went to a Bklyn Walgreens on Atlantic Ave. and asked for three books of forever stamps. $24.6 at $8.20 each. 24.6-5.00=19.60. For some reason, cashier toke an addition 42 cents off. I figured out that the 42 cents is 8.375% of the $5.00. Why? I don't know....
Final price is $19.18. Wow.

BTW, forever stamps are stamps you can use no matter how much the current first class stamp is. In 2015, a stamp may cost 92 cents, but you can use the forever stamp that you brought on 1/31/08 at Walgreens that you used a 5off20..... You'll be saying "Ahh... the good old days....."

I am suprised they did not specifically exclude stamps this time. Many people did get stamps last time, but this is YMMV because some stores may not sell stamps or they may use the items prohibited by law condition to deny you. But, it does not hurt to try.

1, walgreens here do not sell stamps. suck;
2, coupon comes too late. I bought FAR items already on Sunday. Just returning and rebuying them may not be a good idea.

I believe the law is and correct me if I'm wrong, you can't sell stamps less then face value. It prevents businesses from using stamps as an advertising tool.---- the bottomfeeder

No stamps available at my Walgreens - boo!

I did use the 5/20 in combination with the 3 12-packs of diet pepsi, 1 bag of chips, and a 24-pack of Aquafina for 11.79 deal. Tossed in random stuff that was on sale/had coupons/I needed to fill up to $20, paid $15.74 out the door. Not too bad. It's no CVS deal, but it's still good! Thanks OP!

I got the pepsi deal also and you can make this hotter by buying the free after rebate stuff to get to $20.

Some people claim you can often buy old stamps for less than face value, but I am not sure how many of them are scammers http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/468965/buy_postage_stamps_at_below_face_value.html

I am not saying the prohibited by law condition is valid or not valid, I am just saying they may use that as an excuse to not allow it because they do not want to loose money on the deal.
