No, it was my coworker and I that picked it up. Gammah titewad said:idohair said:gammah said:My coworker and I actually scored 1 each today at the Garden Grove, CA store. We took the last 2 remaining.
The store in Commerce, CA supposedly has 4.
Thanks for the deal. Now which hoses and other accessories can we buy for this unit?
GammahHey, I just called there and those 2 are still in the system, but when they checked for them they weren't there That's because the guy who answered the phone now owns one, and so does his buddy. |

I forgot to post this last night, but as of yesterday after work, Signal Hill, CA had two in stock. I actually went against my FW instinct and didn't get one because I didn't need it. |

Just picked up the last one in Alexandria, VA. My initial trip was to the falls Church, VA store, and a regional check showed that this was the last one in the area. |

Air compressor is very handy tool to have around, but they are very costly, so make me hesitate to buy one. Do I really have to pay over $200? It always turned me down. Nah, later. But at only $49 (I also used 10% off coupon), and with Ridgid quality, I couldn't resist. |

I already have a 2 gallon Campbell Hausfeld I got through a FW deal two years ago. I don't even need the Ridgid one, but I know its a good deal so I couldn't pass it up. |

LOL Air Compressor Geeks ! I agree, I have the $24 CH compressor from WalMart 2 + years ago and love it. I use it for running my air nailers around the house. I have a 5 HP one, but its too big to easily lug around. The CH is small, and mostly keeps up, but I could use a larger one. This Ridgid fills the gap. lol |

Half or quarter of a normal price, light tote-able unit, relatively quiet for what it is, etc etc, not that surprising there's a lot of interest.. I've been wanting something big enough to run a good airbrush, this is half the cost of even a regular airbrush type. Much louder, but still 1/4 as loud as most compressors, heck it's quieter than some of the small $10 car units I've had. Heck if they'd been marked and on the floor they would have been gone long before I got there. Saw several other people looking through the small compressors while I was there, but they didn't know the price or to find the number up top and have them pulled. Lucky me this time.. |

I will ask again... if anyone picked up a spare to sell please PM me. eB@Y and craigslist have a bunch for $100+. I know what they paid and shipping is around $25ish. I will gladly pay for your time. I have helped out a few before on FW with questions, just hoping... Thanks! |
