I ordered 2, and then I thought what the heck, so then ordered 5 more. I really hope these ship. Seems like I'm always just missing the best deals and this time I was able to jump on board.

It's Sunday night...I kinda doubt anyone is there to do any cancellations yet. You're jumpin the gun...wait til Monday mid-day or so.

With the recent $32 camera deal, they waited several days to cancel.

They've hit my paypal already and got a confirmation email. I am sure I'll get the cancel email and eventually they'll stick the funds back into paypal. Fun to gamble when you're assured of at least getting your money back!

Heck, they never hit my PrayPal account.

D3LL blacklisted me a long time ago, yet I did buy a reburp computer since without a problem - and thought that maybe they don't check their s#itli$t on non-D#LL items. But alas, it's setting as pending at the site and I can take all the funds out of my account.

Funny thing about this deal. The day will come where 1.5TB of storage will be old news, and 2TB drives will be a BF doorbuster at $29.99. I almost put AR, but let's pray rebates are banned by then!!!!!!

7 out of 10 of my orders now say shipped. But I haven't received any shipping emails nor does it show tracking numbers on their site.

Waiting for my cancellation email as well but just wondering... <rant>Why would you EVER want rebates to be banned? Prices are ridiculously low AR because companies are banking on people not sending them in, forgetting about them, etc. People like FWers, SDers, etc. are these companies' worst nightmare because they never seem to forget and actually take advantage of the good deals. Do you really think we'll be seeing stores giving away all the current FAR products for $0 at the cash register? And if so, do you really feel like spending all those sleepless nights in front of a store to get them? And don't forget about PMing two weeks after a FAR or low cost AR offer so you actually get paid to purchase an item! I've been burned by rebates a few times (mostly my own fault in missing dates and stuff but also a couple almost burns that I quickly followed up) but I hope they never go away. </rant>

Please return to your cancellation-email-waiting activities already in progress.

I did get a call from Dell asking if I did in fact purchase the item and what my end use would be for the item. Then the person said everything looked good and confirmed my shipping address. However, my purchase still says in production.

Not canceled yet!!!

In 1982 a 5MB HD was $1000 (I bought one for a friend of mine). In 1987 a 20MB HD was $300 (I bought one for myself).
