Nice, at this price everyone should buy one. I'm no enviro-nut, but the cleanest way to produce more energy for the planet will always be to use less of what we already have.
I think mini-twist just refers to the fact that there are fewer twists in the bulb...so it's only 13w, but shorter than the higher wattage cfl bulbs. Makes a difference when you're trying to get one into standard fixures, in more enclosed spaces.

Hmmm....I just called their 1-877 number and pressed 2 for customer service but a recording said they were currently closed, but the website says 24/7. I then called back and pressed 1 to place an order and believe me, the sound is absolutely horrible (crackling on the line). I'm not so sure about this company.
UPDATE: I finally got someone to answer after a few minutes of hold music and a young woman answered (I also heard others in the background talking). I asked how long they have been opened and she paused for about two seconds and they answered "since 1933."
UPDATE 2: http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/retailerratings/displaystore.php?storeid=1717 (not getting good reviews)

Costco is selling 13 bulbs for something like $8 or $9 - there is an instant discount of $5 or something from the Electric company - check that out before you jump here.

RE: there is an instant discount of $5 or something from the Electric company
The electric company rebate is very localized. However in Calif and So Oregon the lamps while not Sylvania are usually 79¢ to $1.00 at many retailers. Also 3 wattages are offered. Same price. Of course not at WM

The discounted/subsidized CFLs I have seen and bought have been 23 W. This deal is a 13 W, which can be handy if one does not need the brightness of a 23 W.
But it still makes me wonder, they are probably paying more for shipping, even if the bulb costs nothing to them. So, in fact they are loosing money on every shipment. There is no such thing as a free lunch (or bulb) in this world. Where's the catch..... Spam/junk mail?

If they lose $1.00 but you now know about their site and order in the future = possible profit!
