what is the plan code for that? I don't need unlimited minutes and was just going to do 2 sero plans... but this sounds way nicer!

My plan reads:Free and Clear Family Plan UNL: 95.00
total equipment repair (per line) 7.00
FREE: America Roaming
FREE: Long Distance
FREE: PCS PICTURE MAIL-Sprint Picture MAil
FREE: SMS Text Messaging-Unlimited Text Messaging

This is for both lines!
Total Bill:
$119.91

My 2 Cents

What about the Vision for internet?

And "Phone as Modem" which you cannot do with SERO by design w/o some hacking?

Forgot to hit quote: I'd like a plan like that too...

CowbellMaster said:Cyberclark said:I didn't get the unlimited but I was able to get:

Sprint Free & Clear 1100 minutes - 49.00
Unlimited Power Vision - Free
Unlimited Text - Free
Unlimited Picture Mail - Free
Sprint PCS Mobile to Mobile - Free
Nights & Weekends start @ 7pm - Free
2nd Line of Service - Free
3rd Line of Service - $10.00

So after insurance and taxes and what not the whole plan for 3 lines comes to $75.00.

Now I know someone will say well if you had 3 SERO lines you would have 1500 minutes a month. But this way the 1100 minutes are shared between the 3, and being that the 3rd is for my Mother who uses like 10 minutes a month I thought this was a great deal. And I also got to keep the same phone numbers that I have had for 8+ years which I wouldn't have been able to do with SERO.

Prior to this call I was paying $180.00 a month for all of the above. I have been contemplating calling since January when my contract finally expired but was putting it off, so thanks to the OP for posting this which made me get off my butt and call.

Hey, sounds like you got a great deal on that sprint plan. Could you post or PM me your plan code? I'd love to get a 2line plan like that.

Longest deal post ever without copying/pasting and 2 icings on the cake. I can sense your enthusiasm, lol! Congrats on a great deal. Hopefully, T-mo will follow suit. They have me under contract for about 20 to life.

I'm waiting for

unlimited min send/recieve (wouldn't need free weekends since it would be unlimited anytime)
unlimited internet with no per gb download/upload charge with at least 3mbps speed
tethering option
unlimited text

for $35 a month.

will I ever see it? prob not.

I called and after getting transfered 3 times, finally spoke to someone who did something for me. They said I couldn't get this plan until im migrated to the new system, which should happen by april. However, she gave me unlimited text and unlimited data which I pay 40 dollars for now, so I basically pay the same as I would with this plan. I have to call back in April and get switched to this new plan so I can get unlimited minutes

Do you know if you will have the option of using your phone as modem if the phone had that capability? This would be a big differentiator for being better than SERO because most users don't really "need" unlimited voice.

sorry wanted to quote instead!

So even if a GSM provider did offer unlimited talk and unlimited data, this still would not compare to the amazing SERO.Sure, there is... AT&T's 3G network is HSDPA, which is plenty fast. However, the coverage map for it is still very limited compared to Sprint's EVDO.

T-M0bile will introduce their own HSDPA network later this year.

Hey,

Great deal! Can you PM me your code please! Thanks in advance! I'd like to get 2 more lines for that much too!

Totally! Reminds me of the super-enthusiastic fast-talking girl from Robot Chicken who shouts "WOO-HOO!" at the end of every phrase.

I also have had this plan for about a month, been waiting for the bill to come in to verify before I got anyones hopes up.

alert mods

What is the maximum number of lines you can have on this plan? Is it still five?

alert mods

Could someone please recommend the phones to get to hack to make my laptop have internet and how to do it?

I'm holding out for telepathy for $5.99 with a free Happy Meal for new customers. Got my fingers crossed.

For the benefit of all the SERO newbies out there, please keep in mind that only Sprint is offering unlimited 3G EVDO Rev.A internet access with the plan. AFAIK, there are no GSM network up and running faster than a 2.5G EDGE network which is almost like comparing DSL with dial-up modems. So even if a GSM provider did offer unlimited talk and unlimited data, this still would not compare to the amazing SERO. Don't get me wrong, I want the 3G equivalent of EVDO Rev.A speed (1.5Mbps down) as much as the next guy because I like swapping providers once a year to get a new phone now that numbers can be ported and switching SIM cards is just so cool. BUT, until the networks see the demand, they are not going to be motivated. As long as customers are not educated to know the difference between what it's like to use the internet on Sprint vs. the rest, they will happily limp along, keeping their customers happy and dumb.

Cingular is out with HSDPA 3G... the treo 750 is currently blazing with its speeds.

(I am on Sprint and love EVDO however..)

Your info is a bit outdated, AT&T has launched a 3G (UMTS) network last fall. T-Mobile is promising to have it by the summer of '08. But from what I hear Sprint has the best data (speed and coverage) network in the US. If not for all the horror stories about Sprint CS and billing issues I'd probably go with them for couple of years until T-Mo deploys their 3G network.

Well after hearing of this plan i had to ask a voice that would be familiar with this. Yes, the plan is being tested; Phila, Tampa, San. Fan. and a couple others. The details are apparently not worked out fully which is why it is being tested. From what i am told this plan should actually cost less then $99 (and lower then $95) in response to verizon getting wind of it and rolling out their plan in response. It will also provide more services then verizons basic plan. It may be close to the plan on this website http://sprintunlimitedaccess.com/ but will cost less, possibly half if we are lucky ....

Although it sounds like a great deal, I don't see many FWrs finding success.

OP: Please add YMMV to subject line until it becomes a more accessible offer.
