The ad said $5 to reserve a Wii Fit. Anyone know how much the Wii Fit is going to cost at TRU? I know the MRSP is $69.99, but I've seen Buy.com charging an astonishing $100 for a preorder of it.

Anybody else get a Wii console and were told they were forced to buy it as part of a bundle for Wii Console + TRU extended warranty for 279.99? I don't want to steal this thread but wanted to know if this was corporate wide or just my local store. This is the TRU in Culver City. They rang up 249 (console) + 39 (warranty) + 39 (wiimote) + 5.99 (warranty) + 39 (wiimote). This was $16 above what I was expecting. In the end, I got them to remove all warranty charges.
I was told 3 times about warranty today and I refused saying this is a gift .. last time I was forced to add warranty by clerk and I told them it doesnot say anywhere in the AD. I asked the cashier to call the manager while 25 people were standing behind me. I refused to sign my cc screen for more than 249.99 + tax.

I scored two at TRU and two at Kmart as well, but there were no mentions of the warranty at all. I just felt sorry for those who waited in line for some 30 minutes just to find out that in order to get a wii you need a ticket...

SWEET! A little less for me...115+~15 for shipping GH3 back so break even. But I'm not complaining...Brawl for free! Still I feel a little stinky for screwing Activision . If they had Rock Band for wii I would have actually bought it
