no just the skates

I suggest not buying skates through the mail (even if the company is Canadian, as KOR is). Skates need to be professionally fitted if you're serious about the game IMHO.

Not really, usually you get 1 size smaller than street shoe size and your good. These you BAKE for a custom fit! so it dont matter if you have a club foot like Peter the Great, it will still fit like a dream.

I wear an Easton Synergy 800C size 8.5 that were baked and fit great. HOWEVER! I tried out a Nike Bauer Vapor XXXX and their size 7.5 was too big for me!

Hockey skate sizes vary widely depending on the company. Investing hundreds of dollars on something you haven't tried out is extremely foolish IMO.

Baking for a custom fit helps, though it really only speeds up the breaking in process. If a skate is too small or too big baking WILL NOT HELP. You absolutely MUST try out the skate in person before you buy it. Find it at a store, try it out, and if it fits well then I'd consider buying it online.

Don't know too much about Kor skates but you can get some more info and pictures Here.

Overall I say good deal OP so Green

It is important to try them on and get a pair that fit properly. Too loose is just as bad as too tight with hockey skates. I don't think you have to go as far as "professional" fitting, but I wouldn't buy skates mail order.

If you are new to buying skates, the Ice Hockey Skate Buying Demystified article is an excellent reference. The section on How Major Brands Fit will give you some measure of how to size major brands but does not cover Kor. I'd agree with a previous poster about trying on skates at a store to determine size before ordering online. The article does a good job of explaining how hockey skates are supposed to fit when properly sized.

Just because you know your "shoe size," it doesn't mean that you'll get skates that fit. Do you know the width? Do you know the arch height? Do you know the volume? It's one thing to have experience with a particular brand's sizing (and this isn't foolproof), but prepare to buy three pairs to "bracket" your presumed size. Then, return the two - or three - pairs that don't fit.

This goes for hiking boots, too.
