Video card makes the deal a green getter, but not a fire setter.

just signed up for the 10% off coupon, how long does it usually take to arrive by email ?

a few hours and what domain did u use? also r u planning to get the video card from Dell or somewhere else? and if somewhere else which one?

the code should be instantly emailed to you. if you dont get it within a few minutes, its likely it didnt work.

for video card, check out This one Evga at newegg

I'd jump on this if I could get the 10% code to work with Vista...I dont want another copy of XP.

I don't understand this. I finally got a 10% and it doesn't work with a system with Vista? Doesn't say anything about that in the coupon details...

Anyone got the coupon to work with Vista?

Does anyone know if you can use the AMEX rewards cert for this?

"$250 Dell Home System and Television Certificate"

It says Dell Home, but can you use that at EPP?

alert mods

Just wondering if anyone try to overclock this CPU to 3.0ghz?

Thanks OP. I finally pulled the trigger on one of these deals. I used to build my PCs but for this price I can't match it.
I, like others had to choose XP to get the 10% coupon to apply. I will try to chat tomorrow and get vista home premium instead.

Just an FYI
I bought this 2 weeks ago and when I got it I added a WD 750GB drive. Runs great and Vista home premiums seems very nice so far..... really worth the money

just throw the vista recovery dvd in before you go online. sheesh. not that hard.

alert mods

I'm sure it will work. Just give it a try and remove the code after you find what you wish to know. It should not affect the validity of the code unless you pull the trigger.

I am on the same boat and very tempted....

Please let us know if the AMEX code works. I thought since it's only for "HOME" it wouldn't apply to EPP. Also, I've heard this drops the free shipping, does it do that during the checkout?

How did you get it to stack? Could you post a copy of the checkout details please?

You have to call it in. I checked with Dell chat and they gave me a # 1-866-535-3578

I haven't actually ordered the cert yet... was hoping someone would know for sure if it will work before i order it.

I did, but I couldn't get it to work reliably - everything worked, but when I ran it under load it kept crashing. I think the CPU kept overheating.

I've put it back to the stock speed, and I'm happy with the performance.

The sweet thing is that you can do raid 5/10 and put in 8GB of ram. The only problem with doing raid10 is that there are only 4 sata slots (this m/b has 2 sata slots that were disabled/never soldered on).

For raid5 bios search for The Lost Brain on google.

They do NOT work on EPP purchases. I have tried in the past.
