05/19 - fyi for those who got the zen v plus: mov > dib (vid format) will crash the video converter if you have the latest quicktime installed - install 7.1.5 and it should work fine. hopefully this will save someone the search / troubleshooting time.

Nice! Thanks OP...just gotta remember to jump on this tomorrow.

EDIT: Also, who wants to take bets on how many "This deal doesn't work" posts we get before the deal goes live? I'm putting the over/under at 2.5.

Haha, clicked on the ad in my email before I realized the date was tomorrow (one of those kind of weeks).

Here's to hoping it goes live before midnight so I can pick up a cheapo refurb 2gb mp2 player/fm tuner.

Grrr, I wish they had a 16 GB Zen on sale. Anybody know how large of a sd card you can put in the Zen's? I love my 30 GB Vision M, but I think I'd like the compact size of these.

gee. I am late again.
very good deal though.

wonder if the black armband and case comes down for the zen V. otherwise it's more than the player itself!

They accept SDHC cards so they can go up to 32GB. 16GB and 32GB cards are pretty expensive though, so I bought a 8GB for $32 at Fry's a while back for mine.

Which one takes SDHC cards? the zen v plus or the zen stone or something else that is not listed on top?

No mention of any external card in the features or specs of the Zen V Plus. Looks like the more expensive "credit-card" sized Zen takes SD cards.

how good are they about having the sale prices at 12:00am sharp?

Is it automatically changed or do one of their web guys need to do the price changes?

Correct, Zen V and Zen V Plus are built-in memory only. Zen has a single SD/SDHC slot.

FWIW, I had nothing but problems with a Zen V Plus (dozens of soft and hard resets, audio issues), and returned it to Target, purchased a Zen a couple days after the price dropped. I've *only* had to reset the Zen twice, and not since updating firmware. Battery life seems to be better on the Zen over the Zen V Plus as well. And the stupid pointer on the V Plus drove me a bit spare. Other than that, great units, LOL.

Any idea on how good Inspire p7800 is? Right now I am using my brother's( as in he got a new set and gave this to me) Klipsch 5.1 ultra but it is kind of broken now and I was wondering if i should send it in for repair since it was such a nice set.
